Myself and several others have thermostats by hyrdofarm. Looks very similar in design of the ones you posted.

Which ever one you choose, make sure to place the probe in between the heating pad and the bottom of your habitat.

Ex. Sandwich between top of heating pad, and bottom of glass tank if you're using glass.

Ideally, you want a proportional thermostat. I don't think these are.

I recommend vivarium electronics or herpstat

A proportional thermostat constantly adjusts temp, thus keeping a constant temp. Non proportional will come on and off usually at a variance of a couple degrees, thus creating temp swings. If you set a non proportional to say 85 degrees, it might not come on until temps fall to 83 and not shut off until it hits 87. Proportional will maintain a steady 85.

    Vivarium Electronics.

These are the basic models, there are higher end ones that support more probes for a larger collection.

Totally reasonable, start with a Hydro Farm. And upgrade down the line to a proportional one.

A lot of people don't. They are nice and more reliable, but not required. Do the Jumpstart from Amazon if budget is a problem. If you're just running a UTH, the on/off thermostat will work fine.

I use inkbird thermometer and hygrometer controllers.

Honestly super easy to set up, and has been doing the job perfect for the past 2-3 weeks!

    I run three
I run a jumpstart on a heat mat. Actually, just ordered and picked up a t8 from
animal plastics and an Rhp. Talked to the manufacture of the Rhp and they recommended thr jumpstart over a herpstat. Said the jumpstart is ul listed and works perfect for the Rhp. Now I also run two herpstats, got a basic on one rack and a herpstat 2 for the newer purchases. Just getting the herpstat 2 going. Still have to set up the t8 with the jumpstart to see what I really think of that set up, but if I am getting that reccomendation from the manufacture of the Rhp I would guess they have experience with them
    working good.

you're either the second person to recommend the inkbird, or the same person, just in a different place:-) I'm liking this one, i like the idea of an alarm that will tell me if it gets too hot. With him in my bedroom right now I'm constantly looking at the thermometer, but when he is able to be in the same room with my corn snake, I won't be checking as often.
