Not really normals dont have hight white as this girl does i guess its not the best pics. She has wicked side pattern that ill include later. Looks like Starbucks coffee lol

Normals vary quite a bit and nothing that I see in your pictures really screams anything to me. If anything more pictures would help.

edit: it could be a really low expression cinnamon.

Yeah i wouldnt think my Importer would sell me normals for a hefty price ive been going to him for a while. Also pocs dont do its justice.

Also normal don't tend to have white flames in between all the alien heads ;)

Hate to rebuff but normals can have high white and flames. Only way to prove she is anything is to breed her. I personaly see a nice normal. But I do hope you prove me wrong

Yes high white and flames but not in between every alien head. Also ive seen like a million normals and none to look like she does. Only way to truly know is play some batry white and hope for the best. Lol

I think it has a Cinnamon look to it, take a pic next to a normal.

When you say breed her to prove her out, to what would you breed her? What would you see in the results that proves what she is?

Breed her to another that is suppose to have like gene..

Honestly, if you are buying imports, I can tell you, an importer likely cannot gaurantee that animal has any special gene, seeing as tho it is either wild caught or farmed..meaning no way to know what both parents genes are.. I would breed it to see if it produces anything special..

Hope you hav a gaurantee from your importer on genetics if you paid a hefty price for it.

Furthermore... "Dinker" is a term used to describe a snake that may have unusual trait, markings or coloring that hasnt been proven to be genetic yet.

Breed it to a normal and see what it produces.

Its good to think of a "dinker" as a potential..or possibility for something else.

But yet, I havent actually seen a dinker prove out up to this point. Imo, its a normal most likely, w a hefty price tag in hopes of producing a morph.

I'm glad you mentioned that. I was wondering. I've seen the term 'dinker' thrown around lately but just thought it referred to a normal. But it's a normal with possibilities :)

Its a normal that MAY have possibilites, not a normal that HAS possibilities (bc you know the genes). No gaurantee. You have to breed it to find out.

What is being called a dinker, is likely most of the time a normal that has nothin special genetically..just happen to be odd looking normals.

When buying a dinker one should be very aware there isnt a gaurantee on what genetics it has or doesnt... Or it wld be said it has x... And sold as such. Be wary of importers who may be selling dinkers as a morph, when in fact, they are an odd normal who may or may not, but most likely not have a hidden gene...

Dinkers are a big question mark really. A gamble. You cld pay a boat load for one tht looks different, breed it out many many many times, and still produce nothing but normals.

On the other side of the coin... It could even be said that any normal ball (keeping in mind there is a huge degree of variety in normals) is a dinker, just because one doesnt know exactly wht its genes are..

Keep in mind, normals are beautiful..and I have never seen 2 exactly like..ever...I have seen so many variations on pattern and color,etc over the years its crazy.

Don't name it until you prove it out. Also you pretty much have to prove it out, no one is going to pay a premium price for a normal looking vgx animal with flames and nothing else to indicate it is worth more genetically than a pastel

Just seeing a clean normal here as well.
Only time will tell if there is more to it.

I guess ill jist keep my hopes high. In person she looks like she has great potential. She looks just like her mom with the bubbly white spots and the weird ghost patterns

I got a few dinker projects myself, just got to do the leg work and be prepared for disappointment. I think you are getting way ahead of yourself by explaining how it's different and naming it. Prove it out, then go from there. We would be without many cool morphs without people trying.

Oh yeah lol thats just the name the dinker was given before coming to me. In the future i will definitely give the snake a name if it proves out. As for now her name is cappucino lol
