Hahah I love this!! I've been doing this with my incubator too! Mine still have about a week left though but man the call of those eggs are irresistible!

I think i have an idea what some are from the last time I candled and am more curious to see if I was right or not. Thinking only 2 BELS in the clutch but still can't wait for those little snoots!

u should pull up a chair and have a few drinks. :)

Lol. . To bad your incubator doesn't have lights.. you could have a few snake friends over, pull up some chairs, have some beverages and watch the incubator show.

Haha there are LEDS in there so I can see into the boxes a little. My local snake friends are mostly into hot stuff so they're pretentious jerks about my beautiful balls! Lol

I don't know if I'll be able to wait to see how many are BELS! I think just 2/5. There's also an egg that seems like it either has a small baby or one that didn't make it. Veins looked good a few days ago when I last candled but there seemed to be a lot of empty space in the egg so I may cut that one in a day or two.

I hear you. That's the only time I do any cutting here too - when it looks like they may need that type of care. Best of luck!

All heads were out when I got home! Even the little guy in the middle I was worried about. Thinking it's a pastave. Got my 2 BELS so hopefully one is a female to hold back. I'll try to wait until they're all out and make a proper picture thread.

It's sooo much waiting! First you wait for them to get up to size, then lock up for what seems like a year before ovulating, then prelay shed countdown, then laying count down... I think that's why I need so many, so there's less waiting between steps lol
