My Ball Python is scaring me a bit

This is a bit silly, but I jest fed my snake an adult mouse, and after eating, she's following my fingers with her head like she wants to eat me! The mouse was just a little wider than her widest girth, so I know that she's full, but she just won't stop giving me that hungry stare! Is this normal? Will she behave like this regularly? Or does she just have to get out of "Hunt" mode?

Probably still in feeding mode. How big is your animal? Mice fast become just a snack to a ball python.

Measuring her was a bit of a trial, but she came to about 1 1/2 feet long.

I haven't gotten batteries for the scale I bought yet, and I literally have no clue how old she is. When I bought her from the pet store, I focused more on gender and health.

If the animal keeps this up it may be honestly still be hungry. They tend to underfeed at pet stores.

I've had her for 3 months and she's been eating well. How long should she be like this before I just feed her again?

It's really hard to tell without knowing more about the snake. My snakes around that age would want another mouse if it is a normal sized mouse. If you have another one give it to her and see if she takes it. If she does you may want to bump up the prey size a bit or feed every five days until the animal "catches up" from its time at the pet store.

You should really try to get the animal eating rats while it is so willing to feed. Rats are much easier in the long run.

It's called feeding mode, they can be in feeding mode hours before and hours after being fed.

Even if you feed her enough she can do this for a few hours and if you don't feed her enough she is cruising for food, can't tell which one not knowing the snake.

Well I did see some small rats at the pet store, but they looked HUGE! Although, I guess i'm not a snake.

You most likely need rat pups. Not an adult rat.
