    Adult Champagnes
I'm a bit confused by the champagne gene. I would like to see photos of adult champagnes. The babies seem to vary wildly.

    Thanks!

I am sure Dave Green will post pictures when he sees this, he has the best Champagne I have seen. :gj:

You can probably do a search and see some of his animals he posted in previous threads.

Thank you for the help. I always thought they were so ugly but some of the adults look pretty nice. I'm gonna need to add one for my future breeding plans. Might as well find something I like

Champagnes will vary wildly when another gene is added. their colors, pattern maybe added (as with Enchi for example), shading, etc. will all vary across the board. and then there's the Champagnes with ringers which will also vary in size.

my Black Pastel Champagne het Ghost girl is still a sub-adult. she's orangey-pink with dark shading and little ringers. she was produced by Bigfish1975 of Porter's Pythons. her dad is more golden and has a huge ringer - looks like a Pied. his pix are posted here on the boards. maybe Mike and Dave Green, who's also big into Champagnes - probably the Champagne King, will pop in and share some of their pix.

I'm not sure if this will help with any confusion but here are some...

Ghost champagne x champagne. This pair produced the first super champagne.

Thank you all for the help. I like the look of the pale champagnes and the ghost champagnes. If I want a pale adult what should I look for in a baby?

The fire gene reacts well with champagne if you like the faded look and you can't go wrong with a Mimosa (ghost champ). If you want a pale base morph champ I would just look for a light example of one.

Of course the adults have to be in shed...but here's a few youngsters

I used to not appreciate Champagne! What was I thinking? There's just so much variability, but even combined with simple genes they can create stunning combos! They also have a higher percentage of ringers/paradox so each one is unique!

I love this combo Bruce. Very nice animal. I'm thinking of breeding my boy above to a big cini girl. Have you done that combo? Just wondering if it changes anything.

Amazing combo! Reminds me of a "Grey Panda pied"...There's still so much that can be done!

Here's Bubbles on the day she arrived. She's still a juvenile and will not un-ball herself when she's held. Both her parents are champagnes, and both sets of grandparents are champagne x normal, so she has a good amount of champagne in her background.
