Happy Anniversary!
Well, my husband did it again... For our wedding anniversary, he bought me another baby. ❤️
Say hello to my newest addition, a Columbia boa!

He picked her up from a girl who worked at a pet resort and someone had brought in three boas to be watched for two weeks. The resort didn't take snakes but she offered to watch them and so she took them home with her. Two weeks went by and no one came back to pick them up. Fast forward some time later and she still had the baby but sold the two bigger males because obviously the people didn't want their snakes backs... The owners told her this baby was a girl, so that's what she went with. Three years later and she couldn't keep her anymore and posted her up for sale online and in swept the hubby.

Needless to say, I'm a very happy lady who now has a healthy, pretty Columbia and you can't see it well in the first picture, but she has a very pretty pink blush along her head and down her tummy. I don't know much on the morphs or if she's anything special in particular, but she's so pretty and calm and how am I supposed to leave her alone for at least a week? [emoji23]

Re: Happy Anniversary!
And I realize I've been saying Columbia and not Columbian, haha. But is there a difference between a Columbian Boa and a Red-tailed boa? I've read some stuff on how there's a true red-tailed boa versus a Columbian Red-Tailed boa or something... I guess I've never really paid much attention to the info about these guys until now.

Colombian boas are Boa constrictor imperator also known as common boas or red tailed boas. There is another subspecies Boa constrictor constrictor which is sometimes also known as the TRUE red-tail, they come from other countries like Suriname, Guyana, Peru and Brazil.
