Snake nightmares....

So I've been having nightmares about my gravid snake lately. Am I insane or is this a common anxiety for anyone else?

Last night I dreamed that her eggs hatched out as mice (they were piebald mice so kinda cool). Had another one where I went on vacation and I took her with me in a tupperware with a few inches of water in it and she started laying her eggs in the cold water. All in all I've had about five of these dreams.

....no more cold pizza before bed?

I don't remember any snake dreams, but some nights I think someone slipped some LSD in my food/drink. :oops:

I'm always ready to help out a fellow snake person. Just give me all of your snakes and you won't have any nightmares! LOLOL

Hey pl! It's just that the state of your pixel and black pastel pieds are heavy in your conscious and sub- conscious mind right now. Just try to relax and busy yourself with some fun things like a amusement park or trip to the pool. :D Hope this helps.

Omg. I've never bred, so I've never had those kinds of nightmares, but it sounds very possible! LOL

My most recent dream was that I went to this zoo (it was just a big room) that raised and sold various kinds of pythons and boas, but they all ran free in the room. I picked up a branch with an emerald tree boa on it, and he opened his mouth very slowly to bite me...?

So I put the branch back and picked up a normal BCI. The BCI also opened his mouth very slowly to bite me. So I put him back on the floor and thought to myself, "The animals here are all crazy. I better buy one from a good breeder."

UH.

Dreams are so crazy! I'm glad none of them bit you!

I used to have a recurring nightmare about being bit by a vine snake with a giant head.

I had a dream that Delilah (my currently Gravid snake) laid eggs but they were all slugs and I was so disappointed and sad. Hopefully that won't come true and all the eggs will be fertile

My worst snake dream was dreaming that my shoes kept coming untied at work, and when I bent down to re-tie them again, the laces were my snake...so yeah, I have crazy animal-stress dreams a lot. I've also had several where in my fiance tried to help me out by changing the fish tank water and not treating it for chlorine and then watching my fish die one by one.

Alexis: I've had the slug dream too! Luckily I doubt either one of us are prophetic. ;)

Crow: I've had that same fish dream!

I also used to work for Petsmart and I used to have a dream over and over again that this guy came in and shot holes in all the fish tanks.

Found out my girl is gravid yesterday. Stress dreams all night long.

Amongst them that she became egg bound and died (I am petrified of dead snakes), the slug dream, that I was trying to take her eggs away and she flattened like a pancake over them and like melted into the grooves, that the mini fridge I was converting to an incubator kept falling apart and that the babies hatched out as rattlesnake hybrids and attacked me.

Why are we all so necrotic? Heehee

I've not had a snake dream - yet- But I had one on my cresties.

I put Rex(male) and Apollo(female) together. Rex lost his tail because Apollo bit it, then he suddenly became massive and was running around the streets chasing people.
Its probably because I want to breed them(But I cant because they are both rescues and had bad pasts), Apollo is a really aggressive feeder, I'm paranoid on making Rex loose his tail, and he always runs up my arm(Really fast) when I get him out. And I think I watched Godzilla or something before bed. I think that went towards it too. XD

(Also never eat cheese before going to sleep. The crazy dreams that come from that is just- insane)

I told my nephew in law all about my snakes and he said he started having nightmares. He said that he had a dream about snakes and that it was his job to chop their heads off LOLOLOL.

I used to have dreams about my canaries that I bred, I used to dream that I forgot that I had a few cages and found them weeks later with dead birds in there LOL.
