My snake art. :-0

I thought I would share the latest, because I've been doodling these lately. I'm an environment painter and general concept artist, currently working at Disney TVA on an upcoming animated series, so I draw for a living. I doodle snakes in my spare time and freak out some of my coworkers LOL.

But mostly, it seems to be well received online! Mostly random quotes of snakes. :rolleyes:

My graphics art teacher told me in high school to give up doing it for a living saying no one really makes money drawing.
I love to see stories of people that prove him wrong. I wish I stuck with it more.

Dang that bogus! These are the kinds of people who have no idea there is a huge animation and entertainment industry. I mean, where do all the video games and animated feature films and animated tv shows come from? Thin air?

I've come across a lot of people who think "animation" equates only to "Mickey Mouse in the 50's", so they say "animation is dying".... I'm like man, have you seen anything from Disney, Blue Sky, Dreamworks, Illumination, Sony, Cartoon Network LOL. Or even any of the amazing video games lately. Those all come from artists and designers like us!

Not too late to get back into it!

I just decided not to mention it before, but it's not a secret or anything! It's "Tangled: Before Ever After". It's not actually a technical "spinoff", but I can't reveal any details of the story or visuals. But... I promise that it's a LOT better looking and more epic story than what the promotion art that has been released so far implies. LOL.

Most of the crew was disappointed with the freaking awful promotion art, but don't tell my bosses. :s
