Reptile Basics Rack

Just wanted to share a lucky find I got off Craigslist

Just got three reptile basics 5 tub 28 quart racks for $450. He even included the 15 tubs plus 3 extra tubs.

Very happy with this lucky find in Craigslist!

Just an update. Cleaned out each tub. And it was a pain! They were very dirty. But overall very happy.

i would also spray/dust around and inside the racks with Provent-A-Mite just to be sure.

I cleaned each tub out w/ soap, water and some hard scrubbing. After they were all dry I used the F10 SC Disinfectant.

I did ask if he was getting out. He was not. He was moving to another state and ended up buying different racks at his new place vs wanting to drag these along with him during the move. He did not want to deal with the pain. He said he has about 30 BPs and this way was just easier for him to do the move.

yes, u cleaned the tubs but what about the rack itself? i would bomb it with some anti-mite solution but maybe i'm just a nervous nellie.

Ah. I just wiped down the rack. I will spray that down too, especially the inside cuz it would defeat the purpose of cleaning the tubs and the racks were infected.
