Dodged a major bullet the other night

So I'm cleaning my daughters Mohave girl's tank the other night and it has one of those tree trunk hides. I figure I better go upstairs and give it a wash in the sink. So I'm washing it out in the sink and there is a lip around the bottom of it that hid a big dried out Mohave turd and it comes flopping out in the sink. In horror I look and on the other side of the counter in the living room my wife is doing her yoga. I hurry with hot water to get the turd washed down the drain before my wife stands up and catches me. Oh my god the wrath that would have come upon me had she stood up and seen a snake turd in her kitchen sink.
Man it was a close call but I think she still suspected something when I cleaned the sink with bleach as later on she cleaned it with bleach again.

Yup I think you dodged a high caliber bullet!

I always wash eveything in a large bucket of soapy hot water with rubber gloves on. Then i pour the dirty water down the toilet and refill the bucket with clear hot water and repeat the process.

I guess I should thank my wife for not miding snake poop :) it's just a part of daily life round here.

Oh believe me we've been married 34 years I have "the look" firmly etched in my mind. I think she just suspects, or there would be a huge chunk missing out of my rear end.😄😄😄

If I caught hubby cleaning something....anything.... And he used a cleaner? I would suspect the worst.

i would assume I needed to call hazmat.

Ha. That stuff just doesn't bother me.
I used to milk cows for a living. Cows are lined up in two rows, the person milking works between the two rows, below in a pit...you get the picture.

I suppose it would be possible to get dirtier on a hog farm.
