not bad at all. actually amazing!

unless some are born with freckles, i think that's a tiny bit of paradoxing on the Banana Pied's back. also i love its connecting head pattern to neck striping.

    congrats Dave!

So what is 'paradox'? Is that a gene or just random 'splotches' in a snake? I'm not really familiar with that... I have a coral glow, same as the banana, and they are color changers for sure. He will turn yellow and won't keep that orange glow for long! Those are still some high dollar snakes, right now I think they will bring more than $3,000 for the pair.

What causes paradox isn't known. One thought is that it's chimerism, where a twin gets absorbed and so parts of that twin show up in the survivor. But there may be other causes too. I think they're super cool!
