First Egg of the Season

This girl was laying right on time when I got up this morning. First egg of the season for me. Don't think this is going to be a big clutch because she went off food very early. Maybe it will be a good clutch though. I like the pairing.

Thank you. I bought her as a 2 year old awhile back. She is about three and a half right now. She was one of those gotta have it purchases. I've got bigger plans for her next year if she is ready again and she passes her genes well.

Won't know for another three hours. She was still laying when I left. The party is going to be getting her off the eggs. I have never had to do it by myself and I won't have anyone to help me tonight.

I am happy. I came home to five good eggs and a boob. I kept the boob. Who knows. It may turn out good. More eggs than I expected since she went off food so early. She lost a lot of weight. Hope she goes back on food soon.

She gave me one little hiss when I touched her then let me take her off the eggs. No problems.
