Cut? Day 50 (at LEAST), eggs collapsing
It's day 50, at an absolute minimum as I didn't really see mom for about a month prior to seeing eggs.

I'd just pull open the tub, change water, put rat in, pull rat out. Total surprise when I noticed the eggs on March 12th.

So, it's day 50 (at the very least). The eggs are a bit collapsed, but have been a bit "collapsed" since the day I found them.

Incubation temp steady for entire time at 88.8°. Humidity in egg tub, steady at 99%.

    Should I cut?

Pic of the eggs the day I found them (50 days ago):

To give you an idea I incubate at 88.5 degrees and my clutches tend to pip on their own at 60 days.

Keep in mind that if you cut at 50 days they might sit in the egg another 10 days but during those 10 days they will be exposed to bacteria, hatchlings may dry out etc.

I use to cut 3 days prior to hatchlings pipping out now I don't bother cutting until the first one pips if I even cut.

    Thank you both.
The eggs don't look too collapsed though?

They are fine. Not worth chancing. You will have plenty of time to enjoy when they come out. I used to cut but have since learned to be patient. Not worth the risks to me

Yeah. I've cut the last two seasons, just not until day 55-57.
    These just seem pretty deflated.

I lost one last year to cutting and felt so bad. I cut around day 50, by the time the rest hatched(day 61 pips and 62 out of egg) the cut one had green snot coming out and it smelled. Baby was dead. I swore from then on I would never chance it again. It was that 1 out of 100 that opened my eyes.

    Thanks! Will do!!

I'm obviously hoping to hit on the Yellowbelly Mystic Potion, which I haven't seen before.

They look fine for where they're at. I wouldn't cut yet. I think the best practice is waiting for the first pipper.

    Update!!
Not sure how to edit/update the original post/thread title to show UPDATE, and remove multiples of the same pic.

    But....

I knew I didn't find this clutch on day 1, they were a bit too collapsed when I found them to have been freshly laid (lower than optimal humidity for eggs in the moms tub).

Today I looked in the incubator into this egg tub and noticed a tiny red mark on one the eggs...

    Closer inspection revealed THIS!!!!

There are also risks to not cutting.

    I'm super pumped!
I'm actually pretty glad that I ended up cutting them two of the eggs were really stiff and i had a hard time even getting a brand-new razor blade in them. Hope to have them coming out of the eggs in the next couple of days.

Also I've got a video of the egg cutting/reveal!!
