Adulting can be pure torture sometimes. I haven't been able to have any reptiles for the last three years, and after discussing it with my brother we finally gave it the green light. Sadly, I too must go about adulting for the next couple months until we can reasonably acquire the cage and food, and then I can get a ball python again. He keeps saying we could put the money down for the snake and wait to ship it, but I refuse to actually purchase an animal until we have the cage. I'm also nervous about purchasing an animal online for the first time. Previously all my animals were picked up locally.

Yes it is. However I've had four funerals in the last three months. All had insurance but not enough or policy wasn't established enough. Family helps family in a time of need.

Ah, adulting. That thing that I'm supposed to be doing. LOL.....
Whaaahhhhh ..... I don't wannnnnnaaaaaaa!!!!!!!!!!!!
Hubby woke me up this morning...apparently I rolled over and said no, go away...in Hungarian. He laughed so hard I rolled back over and said shhh go to work in English.... he gave up and tried the foldgers in your cup tactic..... and I sat up and said what basically means cheers....in Hungarian.
My Hungarian is better asleep than it is awake. Wonder if I was dreaming in it?? lol.
BTW....I would've left my adulting in that enclosure and come home with that gorgeous creature. Good on you for being the bigger adult in the room :D

This is hilarious as I am half Jamaican. When I get belligerently drunk I speak patois. That my friend is some funny stuff. I am glad I am not alone with the subconscious dialects.

It gets funnier when you realize that Hungarian is one of those languages where its like...
Cheers = Egészségedre
(Hubby lived in Jamaica for seven years. He loves to get belligerent and speak patois too!!!! It must be a thing LOL)
