I've hit 1500g in a year a few times,but this is ridiculous!:rofl:
Hatched 6/12/15 and weighed 2050g today.:winner:

Wow 2050g at 10 months is a healthy weight for a ball? I thought it was a blood python. She looks overweight to me but I don't keep ball pythons.

I would think your biggest concern would be your ability to performing simple math.;)

I don't see anything wrong with El_Ziggy's math. If the hatch date was June of 2015 that's 10 months old. Are you sure you gave us the right hatch date? Did you mean June of 2014?

My blood python almost exactly one year older than this snake only weighs about 1500 grams lmao.

Math may not be my strongest suit but with a hatch date of 6/12/15, and it's currently March 22, 2016, that actually makes it closer to 9 months which is even more extreme IMO. I was rounding up a bit but in either case the snake looks overweight to me. And it's not a concern, just an observation. Carry on. ;)

A bit off topic, but what kind of tub is that? Is it sectioned like that normally or did you tweak it? I kinda like it...can I see the whole tub? I've got a shy girl that would benefit from a setup like that I think.

Are you feeding every 5 days religiously? Do you just feed their width or a % of body weight? I mean I'm sure you're not weighing out each rat but I'm sure you ballpark somehow. It's crazy to me how I've even seen some variance in my small collection with my bigger snakes growing like weeds but the smaller ones seem like it takes them a while. But I'm sure I just look at hatchlings like they should be putting on the same weight gram for gram that my bigger snakes are doing. I have two girls that I got on the same day and they've both eaten well (biggest has skipped a couple meals due to not swallowing or turning down in shed, maybe 4 times total), the smallest one went from 103g on Nov 7 to 281g today while the bigger girl went from 454g to 792g. The bigger girl seems like she's gaining so much more but she's only almost doubled while the other girl almost tripled.
