Definitely not a Stinger Bee. Not even close.

EDIT: What was the exact pairing? Simply Enchi to Clown or were there more genes involved?

Looks to me like there is the fire gene at play ... I could see enchi fire .... yes the head looks like a spider head but the body does not at all .... the clown gene produces a head pattern very similar to a spider head pattern

With what both T_Sauer and Solarsoldier001said, looking on World of Balls and Google, I am leaning towards enchi fire het clown. Due to color and head. But hobbyist showed me that she was not het clown due to no markers from vent to tail tip.

"Markers"mean nothing ... some snakes have them and some snakes don't and even then some snakes have "markers" and don't even carry the gene that the "marker" is known for. The only true way to find out what she has since you can't get the info or reliable info from the breeder is to breed her to a non het normal male ..... anything that she produces that is not a normal, she carries that gene .... if the male (sire) was in fact a visual clown then she is for sure a het clown ... If you are curious about her being Het clown then you would need to breed her to a visual clown and if you get any clowns then she is Het clown (the clown gene is recessive meaning that both of the parents need to carry the gene to make a visual version of the gene) it is a several year process to prove something out that you are unsure of. That is why it is important to buy from a reputable breeder where there is no question as to what you are buying ..... unless ofcourse you simply got her for a pet and no breeding purpose, if that is the case the she is simply a super cool looking girl and it doesn't matter what her genetic make up is :gj:

    This. Right. Here.

If a person is planning on breeding BPs, they should not be attempting to Google search the possible genetics of an animal they have already purchased. Especially when recessive genetics may be involved.

Having said all of that, you certainly do have an interesting new addition to your collection and I wish you good luck with him. Have a good night!

    Best regards,
    Eric

The individual I bought this snake off of is being very difficult (to be be nice). He told me I got my monies worth. So it's off to proving grounds to see what she is. And on the hunt again for an enchi. Life is a big bowl of cherries.

Sounds like he's a real peach, more than likely he is a flipper and not a real breeder because he doesn't even know what he had, .....I would throw his name and area of operation up here so that everyone knows not to deal with him and I would spread the word like wild fire .... I don't think it breaches any regulations of the forum but I might be wrong .... maybe one of the mods can verify that it is fine before you do, but I sure would like to know so that nobody else gets taken to the cleaners

I have to second what Albert said ..... Eric has some very nice Enchi stock and even in an advanced state (Enchi + 2 or 3 gene animals) if you should want to spice up your project a little more, I am planning to make my next purchase from him when this season hatches out.

Whichever you decide I wish you the best and for sure keep us posted as the story unfolds with what you find out with your current snake in question :gj:

I understand "buyer beware" and what not. Even though she is a mystery, I believe I came out on top. Now my next question is should I prove her out or just breed her with my pied and albino spider like I originally planned?

I would breed her to the pied male. It is a normal visual pied I assume? Since the pied gene is recessive you will get the exact same results as proving her out to a normal male with the perk that everything she produces from the clutch will be 100% het pied ...

On the other hand you could do the same with the spider albino male as albino is also recessive the only problem being that you will not be able to rule the spider gene in or out because the male is a spider

Nice looking snake, but my first thought was super pastel or possibly pastel/fire, pastel/vanilla or something like that. Doesn't really look enchi to me.

I know a few breeders from IA, but I can't think of one named Robert off the top of my head. Does he have a business name?

Fire is also a color enhancing gene and sometimes displays a nice blushing effect .... I believe it also makes a more busy pattern but could be wrong on that one. And I am not familiar with the vanilla gene but have heard and seen a lot say that it is pretty much identical to the fire gene

You actually found out he bought it from a local breeder and then flipped it to you?

I just looked on morph market and seen pastel woma and enchi going for about the same price. Idk what the going rate for an enchi is but what I seen was 100-200 for them and the pas woma. Maybe there was something less impressive about the enchi's on morph market? Idk much about going rates of anything, just what I see on the internet so if I'm missing something please point it out.
