Rock on! :headbang: I recognize Gidget. :) Congrats on a great find with that one. Did Mocha come from the same source?

yes, mocha came from the same source. i have to get some pics of him fired up--he turns almost black with bright creamy yellow and light orange harlequin patterning. i have to say i got quite a great deal on the two of them thanks to your advice on gidget. :) he/she is just the cutest thing that has ever entered my herp room. :aww: he sits on my finger and eats cgd out of a spoon for me every night. :lick:

That's great that Gidget is so handleable right from the word go. Camo has been one to want to come out of her enclosure every time it is opened, but not necessarily to come to whoever opened it. :) I'll look forward to Mocha's later pics.

i got gidget from a random guy named bruce who advertised him/her and mocha on kingsnake. the price on gidget was pretty sweet and so i made him an offer on the two together and got a very nice deal. i think they may be 2 of the nicest geckos in my collection so far. i had them delivered to my husband's office because he is able to accept packages there--he called me when he opened the box and said, "these look really nice. i don't even want to know what you paid for them." and i said, "actually you do cuz it was gooood!" :D

it feels veeery good! :P i have no idea what male she was bred to. could be the male i bought with her, could be a different one. i was going to e-mail the guy i got them from and ask, but i decided it would be fun to have it be a total surprise. :)

i *think* i felt one on both sides but i'm not totally certain. it seemed like she should have been more obviously pregnant if she did have 2 eggs in her belly but then, i'm not very experienced at this yet. :)

2 eggs!!! laaate last night cookie finally decided to come out of the laybox and there were 2 perfect looking white eggs buried in the moss. :D they are bigger than i thought they would be too--i don't know where she was keeping those things!

bpdragon, i'm not sure if i will keep these particular babies or not. eventually i will be selling a lot of my crested offspring but these are my first eggs. they won't hatch until sometime in july most likely and then i will get them good and well started so it will be at least 2 more months after that... if you are still looking at that time i might have something for you, in the mean time there are several other people here that might have some babies for you sooner. ask around--you'll probably find something if you don't want to wait. :)
