    Baby Pac man....
Hey guys and gals, showed up late at the Long Island Reptile Expo here in NY. Everything including the crowd was in full effect. Very crowded and all the animals from invertebrates to carpet pythons and boas was on display, well almost. No venomous and no Giants on display. I spent about three hours looking, talking and walking. Unfortunately I didn't find what I was looking for and almost purchased a stunning firefly that looked like he just rolled out of a can of yellow paint! Took all of my self control to leave him behind for real. Made contact with some old and new friends and acquaintances. I got my few live feeders which was the other items on my list. I was about to leave and go home but decided to surprise my better half and purchased a cute little baby pac man frog. Something she wanted for quite a long time. :)

http://ball-pythons.net/gallery/file...age_982318.jpgHere he/she is! Already took a live pinky mouse this morning. This is the quarantine tub which will be upgraded to a 5 gallon in a weeks time. Haha. What do you guys think? This one is called a "four spot" pac man frog.

Pac Mans are very cool little (won't be that little in a while) frogs, very hardy, very easy to care for, nice pickup I am sure you will enjoy it as much as your better half.

Yeah, I found out how quickly they can put on size. I did get him from a reputable breeder of pac man frogs. It's hard trying not to take over the decision making from wifey about the little guy/girl. I found out that you can't determine the sex until about six months old. Thank you D. :)

Haha I love those things. I used to call them Jabba Frogs when I was a kid. I had a bunch of them. Wait until they grow big like the size of a salad plate. Mine ate adult mice. Best little frogs around. Just keep something close by to stick in its mouth if it bites you since they don't let go. They are like a frog version of a pitbull. I had to use a chopstick to get one off my finger. imagine a close to salad plate size frog with short fat legs hanging in the air off your finger all the while puffing itself up and croaking. It was hilarious. Anyways great looking frog and they are as addictive as snakes :D
