I haven't seen one of these in a while!
What herps are on your short list? Who will we get pictures of once you have the time and/or money?

Mine is as follows:
Borneo Short-Tailed Python
African House Snake

Contemplating Crested Geckos but really aiming for the two above!

I'm interested in many things I can't afford, but currently I plan on getting a male ball python this spring. I've been wanting to get a future mate for Pelota for a while now. Hopefully within the next month or two... :)

Only planning on one new addition anytime soon(but you never know): a 100% het hypo female bp.

If my female is up to size for this breeding season, I might give breeding a try before I start with the het hypos. So, hopefully I will have some normal babies :)

Next year after I get my masters, a new job, and get settled in... thats when I will really be adding to the collection :)....and no matter what I get ...you guys will definately get pics.

2. crested geckos! (yes, as much as i would like to say that they are not on my short list and that i will not be buying any for a while, i know that i would be a fool to say it. especially in light of the fact that i am going to the raleigh show in a few weeks here. :P)
3. one (or more) close to breedable size normal female bps

Hrm.. hard to say what I'll get next. I'd like a male Hogg to go with my female.. a normal cali king male for the same purpose.. and I'd love to get some het pieds.

Hard question...

1) Black Blood-female
2) Olive Python- either sex if I can find one for under $500
3) CRESTEDS! :) I admit it, I've been corrupted. Take me away officers..
4) Another White's Tree Frog for a friend for Murphy since I have a nice 30g lying around
5) Kenyan Sand Boas- anery, hoping to get one from Kelli Hammack of H.I.S.S. at this next show in July
6) Rosy Boa- no clue what locale, since they are all gorgeous.


None of that is in a particular order though. Olive pythons in particular have my heart :) *swoon*

That's the only thing for certain at this point. My kids want a female banana Cali king and a western hognose. I want a pair of Angolan Pythons and some of the other rhac species. I'd also like a blood, a small BCI, and a GTP. Oh, and some cute little froggies. :)

I would love to have a breeding pair of Angolans. They are definately on my 'must own when I get the money list.'

ooh, i forgot the gtp. that's on the medium list. :)

well my want list is small here they are

1.1 mojave
1.0 albino
0.1 pastel must be at least 800 grams
1.0 spider
and more breedable female's

for me I plan on having a pair of woma's by the end of the summer and maybe a female BRB

I would be interested in getting more ball pythons.

The black blood python is on that list somewhere.
Possibly another crested or two, but I will probably do more of moving them out then buying. I"ve got a pair ready to bred. Will post pictures soon.

Angolans are by far my favorite snake ever!! (save for Gaboon Viper - but I don't see myself keeping hots). Now if only I could win the lottery...

*EDIT* someday if it is ever possible I would love to get an indigo - hopefully their numbers will come back in the wild! (same to the Angolans)

Gaboon vipers are very cool, but the only venomous I could see myself keeping are low-toxicity, like the rear-fanged western hognose. The Angolans, though, I can realistically see myself saving up for a pair of those. That would be so sweet!

As of right now there are only 2 other snakes that I want

1. Yellow Anaconda (green's are too big)

2. Blood Python (Ever since I saw Smulkins black blood Vader mine will have to be a black blood)

male albino ball, possibly a spider male, working on a trade deal on a female pastel ball, and i'm always looking for female bp's with some size on them. i'm full to brim with cresteds, i want more but i've got enough 3.6.2

Gaboons are my favorite wild type snake.. something I unfortunately probably will never have.

I'd love to have a male yellow anaconda.. the female we have at work is cooking some babies! (I think I'm the only one who has noticed.. *sigh*)

My list in order

Within the next few years-

A longer time down the road-

Male and female redtail boa (either normal or albino)

Normal Burmese python and either albino or albino granite

Bro, I am SO with you on the Indigo! OMG! Such a gorgeous snake & I have heard nothing but amazing things about their temperment. That being said, I know my list is going to have to wait but when I get the chance:

1) A male BP for Hissy to be "friendly" with

2) An RTB! Jason has me cracked out on those things! I cannot wait & hopefully the first one that I get will be from his first clutch!

3) A beardie or twelve! These little fellas are over the top cute! And I like anything that is personable & likes attention!

4) A GTP! They are just so awesome to look at! And when I say awesome here, I mean literally awesome not the california originated form of the word! LOL!

5) BRB! The color of those snakes is just stunning!

a male saharan uromastyx by the end of next month and a bci some time after(most likely next year lol) can't get any pics because the digicam is broken so i will have to get the digi cam sometime in july lol :)

I really want to get a female red blood python. I have mad-scientist dreams of breeding one to this one young male BP I have with an insane pattern.
If money were no obstacle, I would love
a snow boa
a pied BP (high white)
But we just got the horse, and in the cash department, that is almost like having a couple of kids! So you know where my pennies, nickels and dimes are going for the next 25+ years, lol

Baby snow boas are stunning, but IMO they look pretty dull as they mature. Now.. a coral albino, or a sunglow boa would be just fine!
