    Out of control!
Ok, so on 2/19/16 I had no snakes since my teenage years. Went to a reptile expo on the 20th and now I have two young BPs and I'm getting a corn snake delivered this week. In the course of 3 weeks I now have 3 20 gallon long set ups with each being controlled with its own Herpstat 2.

i think I need some serious counseling. 😟

As long as you can afford it.
    Just stay out of debt.

    Something about them is enchanting.
Currently working on the set up for snake number four.
I could gladly maintain a dozen.
Oh, and don't think you will stop with just one corn, either.:P

Congrats on the beautiful new critters T. Like others have said it can be a very addictive hobby and there are a lot of fellow herpaholics on this forum. I have 7 snakes and that's my sweet spot. It's fun, exciting, and not too much work. My only advice to new keepers is to pace yourself and recognize your limits. Don't get too caught up in the rush. Get a good handle on the animals you currently have. Work on making their enclosures as nice as possible. Once your husbandry is precisely dialed in, and you've got your feeding and cleaning procedures down pat, then you can decide if you want more animals. Do lots of advance research and figure out which animals you want to work with most. Just know that there's ALWAYS the next great must have critter and there's temptation everywhere. Other than that just kick back, relax, and enjoy the show. :D

Tell me you did not come here looking for help. With your new addiction. Really dude. We can't help ourselves much less you. :rolleye2: Just enjoy the ride. As long as you can properly take care of what you have don't fight it. You are in deep just like the rest of us. The only time you will be happy is when you are at a reptile show. Or waiting for Fedex to deliver your latest snake. Enjoy yourself.:)

Right. I'm happy because a FedEx delivery is set for Wednesday but distraught at the same time because there are no reptile shows around here for weeks.

My latest bit of fun money went into upgrades, which means I have adequate extra equipment for that future fourth addition. The cornsnake's enclosure will have better sized magnetic ledges (he spends most of his time perched), and (finally) be bio-active. (Costs a chunk of change to get adequate drainage material and substrate to cover a 36"X18" to the proper depths.) REALLY wanted to purchase another Exo Terra viv, but couldn't work that into the current budget.

    Anyway...enjoy the ride!

That corn is beautiful, is it an extreme reverse okeetee, it looks a lot like my corn girl and that is what she is. I know about the addiction. I started with my corn girl, then a BP boy, now i just got a BP girl. If it wasn't for the fact i am out of room, i'd have more. Well i could always kick the grown kids out.

Update. A new 10 gallon setup for corny because he is so small, 15g. Corny will go to the 10 gallon from the 20 long and I'm now in discussions with inland reptiles for a youngster male carpet python to fill the vacated 20 gallon long. Just ordered a herpstat 4. I have a 120-150 gallon (not sure which) aquarium for the CP when he is bigger. Told you I'm out of control.
    latest arrival, Corny:
