Movies you can watch over and over
So I watched Alien last night for about the millionth time and regardless of how many times I've seen it I enjoy watching it from time to time. What movies have you seen a bunch of times yet still enjoy watching them again?

I love Alien and have seen it a gozillion times. It is the benchmark by which I gauge all other Sci-Fi movies.

A small list of movies I can watch over and over:

    Vanilla Sky
    Donnie Darko
    Almost Famous
    Stand By Me
    Tombstone
    Diehard
    American Beauty
    In Bruges
    Waking Ned Devine
    I Robot
    Pleasantville
    O Brother, Where Art Thou
    Heaven Can Wait
    Moonstruck

The list could go on and on. I like dark, quirky, or deep movies. I also like movies where the cinematography is so extraordinary, that there are images that make you wish it were a painting you could hang on your wall. For example, there is a shot in American Beauty where Wes Bentley is facing away from the camera and Thora Birch is leaning against a wall. The juxtaposition and contrast of the dark from his coat against the white wall and pale face of Thora Birch makes me pause the movie every time I watch it, just to admire the shot.

Most of the Disney "classics" are likely repeat offenders for me! They just have that magic. I could probably watch the Lion King a hundred times.

I'm so A.D.D. :rolleye2:, there are a ton of movies that will get me to stop what I am doing and watch it whether it's in the beginning, middle, or towards the end. This goes double for most Westerns! :)

Sooooo, I have a personal rule, the TV does NOT come on until night time. Otherwise I would never get anything done.

Rob, I could go through all three seasons three times in a row and still not be bored of it! In fact, while I may not be proud of my lack of a life, it was all I put on for a couple weeks. *rolls eyes* Come home at 3, put it on and let it play through all night. I'm terrible.

Took Kill Bill Vol 1 & Vol 2 with me on several deployments. I estimate I've seen them over 600 times. Watched them every day in Afghanistan for a year in 2006-2007. I still watch them about once a month.
