Cut my first ever clutch today .. morph comfirmation
Well I cut my first ever clutch today. Everyone seem healthy and is alive :gj:

Some of the pictures are not the perfect pose to determine exactly what they are but I didn't want to disturb them to much more. So let me know what you guys think. The pairing was Bumblebee het. Clown X Pastel

    I'm thinking Pastel here

    Bumblebee http://i1048.photobucket.com/albums/...pss3kdxyb0.jpg

Super pastel maybe just Pastel (that spot in the middle that is blushed is the neck right behind the head, I couldn't get it to show the top of its head)http://i1048.photobucket.com/albums/...pslia3dakt.jpg

    Killer Bee http://i1048.photobucket.com/albums/...psgcosblci.jpg

I'm thinking another Pastel here but I knicked a vein so it's a little hard to tell by the time I got around to the pictures http://i1048.photobucket.com/albums/...ps737sughp.jpg

    Normal

Do you just close the windows back up and let them come out of them later? I don't really know what cutting is about so this is really neat to see. They are so precious!!! Congratulations :)

It's a debatable topic, but yes after a certain point in the incubation (very close to the end) you can carefully cut the egg just enough to see what you have, and then put them back into the incubator and they will come out when they are ready

This was actually my first thought as well, but as light colored as the head is it has me leaning (hoping) towards bumblebee .... It'll be easier to tell once they crawl out :gj:

I would say pastel, spider, super pastel, bumblebee, pastel and a normal that looks like it has het for clown in it. But I can't wait till they are out of the egg!

Out of curiosity what are some common clown Het markers? I have tried to find info in the past about the subject and could find nothing ..... I know in this clutch there is low chance for hets but I have a clown project aside from this and would like to know for future reference

In all honesty I don't really know. But I've looked at a lot and studied a lot and the tear drops are very common in hets. That's all that I've noticed. That normal will be awesome when it comes out.

See, I have a hard time noticing the tear drop on even a visual clown .. I've just never really been able to see what it is that people are calling the "tear drop"

I believe it's this, but I could be wrong. We should start working on a compendium of morph traits with in-depth visuals!

and the teardrops I think I'm seeing on the baby are these:

someone correct me if I'm mistaken about what the teardrops actually are. I'm kind of guessing here

50% is not low percentage. Half of the clutch is het clown!!

Number 2 is spider, and I can see that tear drop. I dont know if it means het, but its there.
You will be able to truly see them in detail once they are out.
    Nice worms by the way!!

Okay so here is an updated photo of #5 (the one I knicked a vein and you couldn't see it that well) in my original post (the next to last picture) ... Looked in on them and it had its head hanging out of the egg and ofcourse pulled it back in when I pulled the tub out for the picture
