Tomorrow is gonna be a rough day first a 200 mile trip to the Roseburg VA then its a 7 hour appt. for my Husband He had been recovering from Bladder Cancer for almost two years now, the trick is not getting depressed about this, In fact I ask God daily please keep him healthy because I would have a hard time finding a New Husband that likes and respect,s my Snakes. While I will be gone all day and into the evening my neighbor is going to stop in at my house and take pictures and text them to me, My Husband, s Doctor's always look forward to my picture's. VA called oh boy now the fun starts, they want him on Nitro like right now I had them call the Bi Mart pharmacy we use and it will be ready tomorrow early afternoon, next Im changing some food Items to ok and not ok and if you eat the no no food it will explode and squirt pink dye all over your face lol then they want to schedule heart surgery in Portland's VA Hospital like I said the fun begins. I will feel a little better after we pick up the nitro. When I have to leave town my neighbor will check my Animals 2 times a day she can't feed them but that's ok with me . Thank God for good neighbor, s. Im also going to keep all this positive so Dwain will not hear all the negative stuff

Glad the cancer is staying away, that's a victory! Your positivity is to be admired, you're a good wife <3 my dad recently had a heart attack and had to put 4 stints in...not sure what the heart situation is but if it makes you feel any better I was very impressed with how easily/quick the recovery was while he had the work done on his heart, hoping the same for your husband. Keep strong sweetheart

It's so strange when curve balls are thrown and it's like we almost have to kick into high gear survival mode and push aside the emotional part of things. He's lucky to have such a supportive spouse. I know your probably so worried and upset but don't forget to take care of yourself too. Please keep us updated, I'm sure with your support and positive efforts everything will be fine. He's a strong guy for beating the cancer, he can get through this too with your love.

best wishes to you and the family.

throwing stuff at you is what life does. about a year ago my teenage son had a depression issue that reached critical mass. I told him that life challenges everyone and says "show me what you got." then I told him "it's your turn now, never back down from that challenge."

I didn't think you would. and it's great that you have such a true friend in your neighbor. these are the people who get us through the challenge. no one does it alone.

I quit for good Jan 2015 I had quit a few times but could never put hem away when I was drinking but I can finally have a few drinks and not even think about smoking. I haven't been sick since I quit and my fitness has improved greatly ! It's been over 1 year now and I still miss being a smoker but I sure do love the benefits of not being one.

Hope you get Dwain in for surgery sooner than later so you two can move forward into the healing process then on with your happy lives :)
