    Ball python breeders
I have zero ball python breeders in my area and I'm looking for a blue eyed Leucistic. Does anyone know any quality breeders that I can go through? I'm nervous to do any shipping or online shopping. I see a million breeders online, but who's the best?

I personally recommend Garrick DeMeyer from Royal Constrictor Designs.

He answered all my questions in a timely and informative manner and was just really easy to deal with and the girl I got from his has never refused a single meal to date. His prices are pretty fair, to me anyway, because he takes such great care of his snakes. I don't know if he has a BEL available but you could check his website and if not just e-mail him and he'll get back to you pretty quick.

Check out faunaclassified BOI forum along with the one on this site. Find someone that has a snake you like for a price you can deal with and then look them up heavily for reviews.

Shipping really isn't something to be worried about imo. I'd get it delivered to your nearest hub so basically the snake is sent at like 6pm the night before and then you pick it up at 8 or 9am and that's it. If there isn't a hub near you then I'd just have to say suck it up and make the drive. I'm pretty close to my hub (like 30 min) and I'd drive that every single time to ensure that my snake isn't riding around a truck all day or risk not hearing the doorbell.

Thanks for all the advice! Royal Constrictor designs are awesome, but I fell in love with a gorgeous bumblee het clown male from Loxahatchee Herp Hatchery. Does anyone know anything about them? They seem a little guessy when it comes to genetics (alot of 'poss het' descriptions about some of their BPs for sale), which is fine, I suppose. I just hate when people hold up a snake with het pied markers and say "just let him prove for you!!!!" But maybe I'm just being judgey.

https://loxherp.com/ ---> this is their website. I've liked their page on facebook for awhile and kind of halfheartedly bid on some of their auctions, but I just want to know if anyone has heard anything about them

You'll find with Ball Pythons that possible hets are mentioned a lot, if not all the time. I don't believe you should charge more for a poss het unless its a high end or new morph, then a lot of breeders charge more for that possibility, but they're just letting you know they might be carrying that gene. I'm friends with loxherp on facebook. I always check out their auctions a couple times a week, but I've never bought from them. They're the reason I got my Champagne Pastel Enchi to make some leopard combos, though! They have some gorgeous snakes. Check Faunaboi and always do google searches on prospective sellers.

I've never purchased a snake from them, but I have done all my f/t business through them (perfect prey) and if they handle their reptile business anything like their rodent business, I would not hesitate to purchase an animal from them. I've been looking at a yb leopard they've had up myself.

I hate the stuff that seems like it's talking you into a gamble too, but it's really just a sales tactic. But if you're looking for a pet only then I couldn't care less about hidden genes. Like the other person said that company also owns perfect prey and they get stellar reviews. I couldn't find any reviews for the snake selling part but I'd bet since they take excellent care of the rodents that the ball pythons would be the same.

I had a great experience with Matt Schifflett at American Made Exotics. He answered all my emails within a day, gave me all the history on the snake I bought, even brought several I was interested in to a show near me so I could see them in person. I don't know what genetics make a BEL, but he has two all white snakes with blue or black eyes, right now one is labeled as a super mota and one is a super mojave with some other pos het things too. I do know that he has more snakes than are currently displayed on the website, (just check out his 2015 breeding season pics and you can tell that there are more morphs than just what is on the site) so you could just email and see if they have something you want, they also update the site often and add more snakes.

I buy most of my animals from Justin Kobylka at Jkobylka Reptiles. Great customer service and great animals. Although I don't know if he has any BELS. I did purchase a snake from Lox Herp hatchery in one of their auctions. Snake is great so had no issues. I will likely have some BELS but not until next year :(

I know! They have really great looking morphs. I wound up buying that male that I mentioned earlier. I'll check out faunaboi, thank you!
