    Kurenai, The Albino Spinner
I just won my second auction! The rookie is two for two. I was originally planning on getting a Lavender Albino to make Lavender Snows, but I like the regular Snows as adults better. I also like Pinstripe Axanthic combos, the Spider is just a plus. She's a 2015 at 260ish grams. Paring was Albino Spider x Albino Pinstripe.

aawww she's a cute lil ball of yellow coils. :)

i love the Pinstripe and Pinstripe combo Albinos. they're so high yellow/orange and low on the white, they almost look patternless. i thinking adding Axanthic to flip the switch to make all white Axanthic Spinners with Red Eyes would be awesome!

Yes, she's quite cute! Its very difficult to see her pattern, even in person. Yes! I'm hoping for Snow Spinners! Maybe even Coral Glow Snow Spinners!

The Super Stripe was from Breeder's Circle, they have auctions every weekend. This one I got in a reptile auction group on Facebook, I'll post the link. You can get some great deals! Especially on the no reserve auctions.

Kurenai has made me think there might be some merit to albinos having issues with depth perception or sight in general. During feedings she misses the prey regularly, sometimes two and three times in a row. It gets to the point where she gives up and gets agitated. I don't blame her, hitting my head a couple times I would get frustrated to. It could also be the spider gene playing in, though she's not wobbling when looking at the prey. Last shed 7/23/16, 588 grams.

It is the spider. The mild version of wobble is poor aim when striking. Our spider did exactly that when she was younger, fast forward a couple years and now she is a killing machine. Thanks for posting the picks, that is one of the many combos we are shooting for!

Kurenai was having such difficulty with prey that she seemed to give up altogether. I tried f/t but she didn't want anything to do with those either. I eventually moved her to the smallest tub again and gave her rat crawlers. Her aim seems much better now and she is taking appropriate sized rats down, so I will be taking her back up a tub size tomorrow. Weighed 876g on 1/26/17.
