Breeding Plans in the Making **Input Needed**
Hi all. This is my current breeding plan. I am about a year and a half out right now but this is what I came up with so far let me know what you think. Hope I didn't make this too confusing.

Albino 50% Het Pied (M1)
Vpi Axanthic Lesser (M2)
Fire YB (M3)
Dbl.Het Albino Pied (M4)
Russo Het Clown (M5)
Special Het Pied (M6)
Females
Het Albino 50% Pied (F1)
Pastel Het VPI (F2)
Pinstripe Het Vpi (F3)
Pinstripe Het Vpi (F4)
Pastel YB (F5)
Het pied 50% Albino (F6)
Het albino 50% Pied (F7)
Russo Het Clown (F8)
Het Pied (F9)
Breedings:
M1 X F1 POSS ALBINO PIEDS AND ALBINOS (PROVING OUT)
M2 x F2 Lesser PASTEL AXANTHICS
x F3 AXANTHIC KINGPINS
X F4 AXANTHIC KINGPINS
M3 X F5 IVORIES
M4 X F6 POSS ALBINO PIEDS AND ALBINOS (PROVING OUT)
X F7 POSS ALBINO PIEDS AND ALBINOS (PROVING OUT)
M5 X F8 BELS AND RUSSO CLOWNS
M6 X F9 SPECIAL PIEDS
I understand that these are not power house animals but they are way for me to jumpstart into Pieds, Clowns, and a couple of interesting snakes (and all of these cost me less than $1k combined :cool:). I am going to an expo next month and plan on getting visual pieds. I have $1k to spend so what kind of pied or pieds do you think would really enhance this group also male or female. Eventually I am going to get axanthic into my pied lines but that is far down the road :). Thanks for reading and any input would be great! :gj:

breeding plan looks like a winner to me
tho as for adding snakes you have 6 males and 9 females if you are adding a visual pied add a female remember one male can breed several females each season
when I buy snakes I buy powerhouse males and 1-2 gene females (far cheaper that way) and hold back any multi gene females but that's just me
with 6 males you could have 20 females with no breeding problems so any additions made I would add females

Thx StillBP for the reply. I was figuring female pied but wanted to hear other opinions. Like I said also I have $1k to spend at the next expo. U think I should try and go for three normal pied females or should I get another gene in there? If so what do u suggest? I like your idea of powerhouse males that really makes sense. Just found an Enchi het Pied female and a Mojave Enchi Het Pied male for $500 for both(hatchlings)! Also can get Female Pieds($300) and Pastel Pieds($400). What do you guys think? I can probably get a discount if I talk to the guy as i got most of my collection from him :D.

i would pickup the 0.1 Enchi he Pied and 1.0 Mochi her Pied for sure since it seems to be the direction u wanna go. i would skip the normal visual Pied and get the visual Pastel Pied if both are females. any leftover money should go towards a het Clown or het Albino.

Thanks Ax that is what I plan on grabbing as soon as he gets back to me along with a pastel pied. Yea i will have to start thinking about expanding the clown project for sure. The albino gene I want to keep to pieds (albino pieds) mostly but expanding that out could be something for the future. As soon as I get my good camera back (loaned to a friend who has had it too long :taz:) I plan on a photo shoot so the pics will flow!! :gj:

OK so just confirmed. On Thursday for $1k I am picking up a 0.1 mid white Pastel Pied, 1.0 Mojave Enchi het Pied, and a 0.1 Enchi het Pied. The breeder I am working with is also throwing in a 0.1 db het Albino Pied and free local delivery as he is going to be in town this week!! I think I lucked out on this one! So my plan for these is:
1.0 Mojave Enchi het Pied X 0.1 Enchi het Pied Mojave Enchi Pieds (obviously lol)
1.0 Special het Pied (M6) X .01 Pastel Pied Special Pastel Pieds
1.0 db het Albino Pied (M4) X .01 db het Albino Pied Albino Pieds
Does this still look good to you guys along with my other plans earlier mentioned in this thread? Just want to get my breeding plans together as I like to plan everything well in advance :). Thanks for your time.

You got that right!! I can't wait to see what varieties pop out of these pairings! I posted the top genes out of these pairings which would be the best odds but beautiful and healthy animals is what I really want to see :gj:

Lol thanks and yes the pictures are HORRIBLE!! This is done with my phone because borrowed out my DSLR. I will be getting it back soon and will make sure to post pics of everyone on the photo thread. Thanks, I think this is a great group too!!

Thanks Albert for the feedback. I agree with the saying of "Planning is half the battle" and I wanna win lol. This new set of babies has quite a bit of growing to do so they are a bit later in my plans but i'm on track with my others for a year and a half. I hope the odds gods are with me too but I will be happy with whatever I get. These are amazing animals and great to work with. :)
