    Popeye Progression Thread
    Hi all,

    So I've decided to start a progression thread on Popeye. Not much to say really. :D He's just out of a shed, and looking pretty good I think. Let me know what you all think!

    These are from today, taken outside;

    Gorgeous snake, do you know how old Popeye is?
    Also, what morph is that?

    Popeye is 11 months old. No morph, he is a coastal crossed with a jungle carpet python. In future, I'll perhaps breed him over a jungle jag, my next snake. One day...

    He's coming along great. He's a good example of the combination of the Jungle/Coastal. I like how the Jungle in him is dominate.

    I love the jungles. Such beautiful snakes. Here is a other pic. Here he's chillin' waiting to be fed. Feeding pics to come!

    Carpet pythons are very responsive to quail! Just don't stock your hand in with food around...:rofl:

    Popeye is looking great as always Herpo. I've fed my carpets mice, rats, ASF's and chicks. They've eaten everything I've offered them so far. I guess I'll have to try the quail next. :)

    They may be responsive to anything :D, the previous owner of Lizzy, my 6 yr old Coastal was fed raw chicken wings and drumsticks when rats weren't available.

    She is ALWAYS down for meal or snack, such a Trashcan. So I exercise her to help keep her girlish fiqure.

    Mack the Knife, my 3 year old male Coastal wants to be fed again from two days after a large meal until the next feeding day.

    They do eat everything! And yeah, after only two days, you could stick another rat in and that'd be gone to!

    And yes Snoopy, I have. I posted pics HERE

    Popeye turned one while we were away, so I figured I'd let him on the clothesline to get some sun! Hard to believe a year ago he was a fiery little worm...they grow up so fast...
