Difference between Pastel Ghost and Super Pastel?
So, I have a female Pastel that could be het for ghost and a male Spider that could also be het for ghost.
This year I got a clutch of 10 eggs.
2 x normals
4 x bumblebees
3 x pastels
and this little female:

She has that faded head and a lot of blushing on her back. The thing is, last year I´ve paired the female pastel to a male pastel. (but I got no eggs from that pairing)
So.... is she a ghost pastel or a super pastel???!!!
Any input is greatly apreciated!
P.S.: Her pattern is very different from the other 3 pastels I´ve got from this clutch.
Sorry for my english, not my first language :)

my vote is super pastel but I will give you im not feeling 100% on it. Take a picture of it next to the other pastels in the clutch.

Now someone feel free to correct me if I am wrong here. I'm starting to work with the Ghost gene myself, and I think there might be an easy way to tell but you'll need to wait till after the first shed. A BP with a visual Ghost gene will produce a shed with no pattern on it. If it's completely clear, I'd say you have a Ghost.

Pics of them in the same picture, your white balance different in every picture making it hard to compare. What I will actually want to compare is the black areas, pastel hypos will normally have a lighter shade of black across the snake. Where a super pastel tends to be the same, just blushed more.

Ok. As soon as I get home I'll take new pictures of the together.

Another vote for super pastel. With ghost you wont have blacks that deep.

My best guess wld be a super pastel. Pretty!

Ghosts are varying shades of yellow, brown, grey and green. Their sheds are always clear much like albinos, with faded dark colors with a faded head. A ghost will always appear to be in shed or always seem to have a hazy appearance.

I am not super helpful with much else... my only personal reference is a male who came from a Ghost x Black pastel spider het ghost pairing.
He does shed clear, not so much blushing on his head. If got to charge my other cell to get tapatalk up, but expect a photo soon lol.

I bow to your experience pit 😅
I label him by his parents simply because he doesn't quite conform. I trust the breeder, and saw pics of clutch and parents. He does shed patternless, but that's all I got. But maybe I'll start a new post and get more opinions lol don't wanna high jack.

Re: Difference between Pastel Ghost and Super Pastel?
So, just to be clear, my female pastel retained sperm from last year even after an unsuccessful pairing.
WOW! This is my first clutch and I got 4 bumblebees, 3 pastels, one Super Pastel and 2 normals.
I consider myself a very lucky man.
P.s.: there's no chance the mysterious baby is a regular pastel?

It actually sounds like you have a dual sired clutch? If she was bred to a Pastel last year and used that sperm, you wouldn't get Bumblebees. If she only used sperm from this year's Spider male, you wouldn't be getting Super Pastels. But yet you have both. So if I'm understanding correctly, she used the sperm from both the males to fertilize her eggs.
