Figured you guys would understand my excitement over my latest CL pick up. Poor guy just wouldn't understand why I didn't care as he kept trying to explain all of its cooling features even though I kept saying I wasn't using it for alcohol lol now to get it gutted!

Great score. That's what I have. If yours has those wire racks with the odd bends in them made for wine bottles, you can easily modify them as I did. I cut some light diffuser panel to size and then zip tied the diffuser to the rack at the sides/corners. The nice thing is it makes the racks usable and allows air to circulate through the entire cabinet. Can wait to see it finished.

It has solid glass shelves that I figure I'll pitch for something that allows air flow. The bottom back area sticks out further so I'm debating if I could stick 1 or 2 boxes down there. 2 fit how you can kinda see in the picture but they're pretty close to touching the door when it's shut. I'll get more pictures once I start working on it over the weekend and get opinions. Either way if it can hold 7-8 boxes it would be enough for me for the time being.

What are the dimensions or model of that wine cooler? I'm trying to find something similar. Thanks!

I think I just bought one of those from my sister, also a Craigslist find! But I had no idea you could use it for racks...? How does that work? I just wanted my own fridge because I have 3 housemates and one fridge is just not big enough haha.

I'll check the make/model/dimensions when I get home tonight. Paid 90 so not the greatest deal but best one I saw for now and I have a phantom due to lay in about 2 weeks so I wanted one up and running for a while before that. EBay had some nice ones that were cheap because they're broken but freight shipping would have taken longer than I wanted to wait.

Thanks!! I just found one on my local ad website, pretty much the same thing for $120. Just slightly taller. Not in a rush though, might try to find a broken one.

Most guides I've seen for these they leave water bottles down there. So when you open the door and close it the water holds the temp and gets you back to the target temp. Not to mention it helps hold the temp with less fluctuation.
