Anybody Else Mix Their Breakfast Cereal?

If I have at least two different kinds of cereal I usually combine about 50/50 in my serving bowl. Like, Cheerios and Special K, or Clusters and bite sized Shreded Wheat, etc.

I was was just wondering if there were any others that did this odd thing as well.

Besides tasting good, it helps to prevent another boring bowl of cereal, especially if I am out of fruit for toppings.

I like chips in my cereal but I like chips on everything :oops:

I always used to find that honey nut cheerios were too sweet, but if you mixed them 50/50 with regular cheerios, they were just right. YMMV.

I like to mix Cocoa Pebbles with Cocoa Puffs.
It's the best of all the Cocoa combos IMO :cool:

Not as a habit, but when I find someone has left an amount in the bottom of the box that is insufficient for my breakfast, I will add something to it just for bulk. Maybe a little too pragmatic but it's about the only time I've considered it.

I mix my Raisin Bran with Honey Bunches of Oats because the ratio of raisins to bran flakes is way too high for my liking and Honey Bunches are kind of sweet on their own. It's a good balance

only when i don't have enough to full the bowl with one type of cereal will i use the back up box to mix...

I've always mixed All Bran with Ready Brek which is rather delicious :)

Maybe you don't get these cereals over your side , though ..

I reckon that All Bran may be similar to one or some of our many Bran cereals.

I'm not familiar with Ready Brek.

I mix would mix Trix with fruity pebbles. Cocoa pebbles with cocoa puffs. Hershey's cookies and creme cereal with cookie crisps. I still like the sugary cereals even after I moved out of my parents place. Not all that great for me but it helps me study and work at night. Lol
I think the only cereal I won't ever mix is honey nut cheerios. I find them delicious by itself with milk. But I have been known to experiment with different and sometimes crazy ideas. I confess I did something really weird that I saw off of the Drake and Josh show on Disney when I was rather young and crazy. It involved honey nut cheerios, Pepsi, and even more sugar. Needless to say, my mom was very annoyed that day with the chaotic sugar rush that I had and the lazy sugar crash afterwards.
