    Sterling pastel?
    Hi all,

Just want to check an ID on a hatchling. Thinking Sterling Pastel?
Pairing was Butter Champagne Pastel to Pewter

    Thanks

Hey, I am leaning towards a Sterling indeed but I am not a 100% sure, I have never hatched one before, or anything at all YET, haha.

I vote pewter. Whenever I produce pewters they come out nicely silver like that guy, but get a few shades darker with first shed.

I think Pewter also. I've hatched a couple of Pewters, and they always look nice and clean silver, but as they grow they get darker. Also, Sterlings usually have more fading or washout to their pattern than Pewters do.

The first pair of Pewters that I hatched out were so clean and silver in color, I was hoping they were Pewter Mojaves, but alas, they were only Pewters. It takes hatching a few to see the difference.
