    2016 piebald hatchling growing ...
This 2016 0.1 pied was one of 5 hatchlings that I was able to catch outside of her hide today and had to snap a picture. After 2 live hopper mice feedings they seem to be thriving.http://ball-pythons.net/gallery/file...ge_763786.jpeg

I love them all. Isn't it amazing how a low white pied can produce high whites and vice versa. Same for medium whites.

What a cutie! I have a birthday coming up if you need any ideas...

Is she from a low white pied? I have a low white pied coming on Wednesday so I'm curious to see what she'll produce compared to my higher white pieds. I've heard lots of mixed reviews on if the parents amount of white determines off springs or not.

LTG.... valentines day is coming and that is your chance. Make it big and romantic. Wine and dine, flowers, cheesy stuffed bear, all of it.

While she is still on the v day buzz, make your move!!

Trust me, it works. Most of us women know you are up to something but if the woo-ing is good enough we let it slide.

Full of ideas. Thank you. I just mentioned this in a earlier response, the amount of white in a pied has absolutely nothing to do with the percentage of white they will pass on to their offspring.

While I understand what you meant Ax01, I have hatched a few clutches now and trust me, not a one of them were free. It's kind of like when you save $2,000 by buying a $25,000 car.

Given my druthers though, I'd much rather hatch non free babies then buy them. So much more satisfying.

Prices for pieds and especially high white pieds have a high variability. It's based on the breeders determination along with several other factors. PM me if you are interested in any of my girls.

Yes rid, you are so right. So much goes into the planning, the expectation and preparation. Then you have supplementation and finally your production. No, definitely not free.

Just to throw this out there... high white pieds aren't cheap (in my opinion). Males seem to be a little cheaper then females. The cheapest I've seen any of them are $350 plus shipping. The upper end can easily be over 1K. I've heard of a few people finding them a tad cheaper at expos, or once in a great while there is just a really super nice breeder out there that is willing to sell one cheap to make someone's dream come true. So I've heard... ;-)

I spent a good portion of the day yesterday looking at hundreds of snakes and couldn't come close to finding a pied as nice as this, I seen a few with good markings but they where way to skinny for me. Kudos! Anymore photos posted that I may have missed?
