What's scarier?

We were debating in my house which is scarier: monkeys or clowns. What do you think? :D

now that's kind of a tough one. clowns are definitely scary. most monkeys aren't scary but the ones that have those really big teeth are very scary when they are angry. (i'll have to google them and figure out what kind they are exactly.) so i guess it kinda depends. :)

Clowns are just creepy and monkeys fling things. Baboons don't fling things, but they are just obscene, chimpanzees are the ones you have to watch out for. Those are dangerous...

Now baboon babies, those are just cute.. and silly.. and clumsy. :)

Mlededee, I think you might be talking about Mandrils. The ones that have colorful faces and VERY large teeth? My class got to see some at the San Antonio Research Facility. Very neat stuff.

Clowns, the Circus, fun etc.

Monkeys, big teeth, unpredictable, down right mean and the whole throwing of poop thing.

Clowns are definitely creepy. They just look.. wrong. Then you hear about these clowns that are criminals.. what is it about people that work with kids? Creepy.

Monkeys aren't creepy, but they're kinda scary.. and mean. Some are darn cute though.

..but, ring tail lemurs rock!

Monkeys look kind of freaky, fling things like poop, and they shriek all the time. Clowns look really scary, kidnap kids, and pop every balloon they try to twist into an animal. If you ask me they belong side by side.

Definitely clowns for me. Jeff Corwin would vote monkeys, though. :)

I asked the kids at my church and most of them said clowns. My church school teacher told me after class that he liked my question.

Tough one . . .

On the one hand . . .only scary clown was in IT (and then only when I read it - the movie rather sucked), Killer Clowns from Outer Space was . . . cheezy - and all the clown-based music (with the masks or insane clown names) doesnt do much for me (Mr Bungle the exception)

OK yeah that's it - I am going with Monkees as scarier and potentially damaging what with that show and music scarring my youth so badly.

i really couldn't look at this guy that whole night (halloween party).

Not scared of either but if I had to choose I'd say monkeys. Did you guys hear about that man....I think he was an english zookeeper......but any way last month on the news they said on of the monkeys (Chimps) he kept had a birhtday and he was bringin the monkey some cake of course the one monkey was happy but not the other four. They began attacking him and his wife (Maybe they were jealous) but the man took severe damage to his face and his thumb was bitten off and no i'm not making this up. So yeah I'd pick Monkeys.

I would have to say monkeys. Well not necessarily monkeys, but Gorillas. Just last weekend I had one throw dirt and rocks at me.

Yeah like that but scary - Tim Curry kicks buttox though - it would have been downright laughable without him as Pennywise.

Clowns get my vote, hands down. But you know what scares me more than clowns? The king on the new Burger King commercials! That guy is just spooky.

I thought I was the only one who found that Burger King guy to be wierd. Have you seen the one when he's outside the window about ten yards away and the guy turns his head for a second then he's right in front of his face can somebody say "Stalker" or the one when the guy wakes up and the BK King is standing over him in bed.....no way on Gods green earth will I ever eat a sandwich from that guy.

Monkeys or clowns, I'd say neither to me.
