If you use an IMG instead of a URL the photos will show here.
Your first image is not good, did you move the photo? If you did it changes the addy and kills the link.

Re: First Breeding Season Thread!
SO AWESOME!!!
Locks are the best. Then an ovy is the best... Then pre-lay shed is the best... Then eggs are the best... Then pips are the best... Then healthy hatchlings are the best!
Congrats on a huge first step towards lots of bests!

That's strange I used photobuckets direct link like I always have and the pics showed up fine when I first started the thread for me at least, but thanks for fixing it for me! I had no idea the pictures weren't coming through very we'll since I could see them.

Re: First Breeding Season Thread!
Congrats on the great start. This is also our first season, and it is all very exciting.
I can't help but notice all the holes you drilled in your tubs. I am currently having a problem with too much humidity, but am afraid of putting too many holes and make the tubs too dry. Any advice?

Thanks :) good luck on your first season too, I'll be looking forward to pictures of your hatchlings! And I was having the same issue as well since I live in nashville and the humidity is ridiculous here in the summer so I had to make a lot of holes to keep the humidity down. In the winter time when it's dry I just increase humidity when the snakes are going into shed and provide a humid hide for them so they shed properly and increase the size of the water bowls. I have winter water bowls and summer bowls for humidity control :)

Re: First Breeding Season Thread!
First clutch is always the funnest I remember I kept thinking I was doing something wrong and 2 out of the 3 females I bred layed eggs and both layed 7 with 0 slugs I was soo happy but hopefully the female het albino that didn't go last year goes this year I kept pairing her

Now that I've decided that I will be breeding, I'm impatient to get to that point... but it's three or four years off, since my slithers are all babies. I'll enjoy watching your progression thread!

Thanks Jordan! I can't wait to see what comes from these two. I've been waiting a long time to breed and wanted to have the perfect pair. Now I just have to wait and see what they produce :)

Re: First Breeding Season Thread!
Finally the beginning stages of her ovulation she's not as huge in these pictures since she began late at night and when I checked on her around midnight her ovy was in full swing but I didn't want to disturb her to much to get pics so these will do.

Thanks Albert [emoji4] I'm really happy with her progress. I think it's funny that most snakes go through the "glow" phase but my Delilah was born with the "glow" lol [emoji6]

The incubator is running and I'll monitor it until the pearly whites arrive. I'm so excited I can't wait to see these eggs. I'll update again when the eggs arrive [emoji4]

Re: First Breeding Season Thread!
Okay guys today is the big day! Delilah finally laid her clutch! :D she laid 4 good eggs that candled well and two slugs. The slugs are unfortunate but I'm so excited about the 4 good ones that I don't even care! So without further ado pictures [emoji4] please excuse the blurriness of the pics. Was a little too excited lol.

Eggs set up in tub. I ended up putting some toothpicks around the single egg since it was rolling around. (Pics with/without flash)
