What happened to bamboo?

It seems like bamboo has kind of disppeared. Anyone working with it?

I've seen quite a few around different places. Very high priced.

Really high priced.

I've seen 2 and 3 gene combos on this forum that people bought for only a couple grand which isn't much compared to the 10 grand they were 2 years ago

They are still too over priced for me to want to get into it. And I really don't have much interest in it atm

Just how much do these Bamboos go for. Haven't seen any around here personally.

I could have sworn I saw a female bamboo available for 5:50 but I don't remember where. There are usually closer to 1000 if I remember right.

Bamboo are below $1000 and yes there was recently a female from a breeder sold for $550 (that does not mean that all of the sudden that is their value)

Se7en, one of our forum regulars, has a 1.1 pair of Bamboos. i think he's gonna work Super Stripe into one of them. check out the pix he's posted. good looking animals, can't wait to see what he produces.

Bamboos prices are much lower now. Over summer/fall there were quite a few hatchling for sale at shows. I saw some people post on here about picking a few of them up. This would mean that all those people are raising them up and the people who produced those are probably waiting for their breeders to recover. I love the bamboo and hope to get my guy breeding soon

I wish I lived in America I'd jump on a reduced pattern female bamboo but in canada I don't know of any breeders working with it :(

I see a lot of bamboo and crosses at the shows I go to. Too pricy for me to afford but boy, are they gorgeous.

Got one here on craigslist for 700 obo. 300 gram female

Im most likely going to add a bamboo female soon for 625 (price includes shipping)
