Someday. But only after my friend gets hers and has had her for a while - because I told her that if she didn't like it, I'd buy it from her, and currently there's a wait on temperatures for shipping. Miserable winter weather... same reason I won't have my new balls for some time yet...

I was gonna wait to get one, but I saw his face on the breeders add for the litter over a month ago and could help putting a deposit on him. Plus if I get another ball I wouldn't be able to resist getting a future mate to go with!

Last update tonight. Ekans has decided that the corner behind the water dish is pleasant, but he will grace me by giving at least one of his real hides a chance. He is now curled up peacefully atop the moss in his humid hide.

I've been wanting a Hypo BRB for ages but they're hard to find and very expensive :(

The breeder had a litter of hypos and get hypos and they were like twice the price I paid for little Ekans.

Only twice !?!
They're 5 times as expensive as normals over here in UK !

I paid $175 for Ekans and the cheapest hypo I saw from the breeder I bought from was I think $400ish maybe $350 for a male

I should probably add that the $400 ones were for low quality and hets. There were high quality hypos from $700 and up. Either way I'm happy with my handsome little worm and I can't wait to get some more pictures of him once he's settled.

Ekans update. Checked on him and saw his cute little tail poking out beneath his paper towel next to the humid hide soaking up some heat in the hot spot. Looks like he is making good use of his tub so far.

So Ekans seems pretty settled in, he's using all of his tub and set up home base in the humid hide. Today I try to feed the little worm!

Alright not as comfortable as I hoped. He struck and constricted the f/t mouse fuzzy, but refused to swallow, so I guess I'll try again next week.

Feeding attempt #2 today.

Ekans struck and coiled as soon as he saw the f/t fuzzy, then proceeded to drag it into is cold side hide. I then did a little clean up and checked on Sadie (one of my bps) who I also fed today. I used my tongs to move the paper towel atop the hide to peek in to see him nosing around his mouse. He then stuck his head out at me after I put the paper towel back and stared at me in a defensive position until I finished locking his tub, replacing his books, and turning my light off. He then returned to the hide with his food.

I'll check again in the morning, but I'm pretty confident his food will be gone in the morning.

UPDATE: As of my check on him this morning, the fuzzy is gone, and he has a cute little lump!

Funny little refusal story tonight. Ekans sniffed around his food like normal but today decided not to strike, not surprising he did look a little milky yesterday so I think he's gonna shed soon. When I withdrew the fuzzy, he tries to crawl onto my hand like he tends to do when I take him out, then gives me the nastiest look when I close the tub. He then proceeds to curl up on top of his hide and stare at me while I finish prepping Sadie's meal and feeding her. He followed me with his gaze the entire time I was in the room lol I think I made him mad.
