Black Widow and Super Pastel

I had my Super Pastel out the other day, and managed to get a couple of daylight photos of her. Rare right now, since it's too cold to take her outside, and too dim to get any photos of her inside this time of year. She was being squirmy and uncooperative. I came home tonight to a nice tidy ball of shed skin from my Black Widow, so while cleaning it out of his cage I took him out for a few pictures. Night-time, with a flash.

I got myself a holiday gift of two more BP's... and they don't ship until it warms up. Driving me nuts wanting to see them in person.

Thank you! I'm so fond of them that my snake population is about to explode. Two arriving next Friday for certain, another that will probably be coming with them, a fourth that I'll be getting if that third new arrival is confirmed...

Both are nice! I love that super pastel!

Thank you. I'm very curious to see how she matures - I know that pastels brown out, but so far it seems like every shed she gets yellower and cleaner, instead of browner. Zyali - the black widow - gets more yellow in him with every shed, as well.

They're both really gorgeous. *-* My super pastel has browned slightly, but not by much. Doesn't matter too much for me though.

Thank you! Though I probably shouldn't be saying 'thank you', since I didn't breed them... We got them both from TriReptiles. I actually don't mind if she browns at all - some of the browned out adult pastel pictures I've seen are gorgeous!

Even if you didn't breed them, the compliment is towards the snake so thank you would be appropriate because you'd be saying thank you in place of the snake, if that makes sense haha.

Works for me! Although Zyali likes his admiration in the form of anything edible, and Miqula likes hers in the form of something warm and squeaky...! Greedy guts, the both of them, even if I can't get Miqula to take f/t more than the one time that I tricked her. I swear she was counting tails when I had the hopper cage out the other day, and making plans.

Haha! Balls are such picky little creatures. Noki won't except rats except when I trick her.
