    Spots
Hello all been a while since I last posted but, I have much more important issues plaguing my house hold. So for about a couple months now Leo has had these marks on his head and neck. I thought he may have scared himself on something rubbing too much honestly I'm not sure what I was thinking so ultimately I figured I would wait until he shead. Once he shead it went away very little. I waited another she'd cycle and it looked like it was almost gone and about a week later back again in the same spot. Is it what I always feared all along. The enemy. Mites.
Please any suggestions would be great.

Do you feed live by any chance? (no judging here)

From what I can tell in the pictures those look like moderately deep wounds trying to heal.

Hmmm, if they are not wounds and no chance of scrapping or gouging himself, I'm at a loss.

    Maybe some others will know.

    Re: Spots
He may have rubbed on the mount I setup for my herpstat probe but, in any case my local shop gave me a anti bacterial for reptiles to mix in a gallon of distilled water and q-tip it on his scars. They also suggested adding neosporin after each application as well. It's not Mites after further inspection. I'm not outrageously concerned but we will see how this goes. I'll stay posted. Thanks for the input!

    Re: Spots
So they took a sample and got nothing but scarred tissue or what would we humans would call a scab. She said keep it clean and apply this other stuff she gave me twice a day. And if it doesn't clear up. In two weeks we will be talking antibiotics. He was cool during the exam. A bit of heavy breathing but I feel ok about it I guess but still concerned. We will see.

No news from the Vet is good news so to speak.

At least it's not some disease or funky condition.

Any thoughts? The vet assured me that it would just take longer for him to heal he is not missing any meals. He is just as docile as ever. I'm not going to worry too much any longer. Thanks all for the support.
