My find at Petco :).

Went there to see what they had and to my surprise they had a clown for $400(the usual price w/o shipping). I've been looking into getting a clown but the ones that are 300-400 seem low quality but this one was very pretty. Day later, and now I own him. Decided to name him Jester, and here he is.

are u sure it's a boy? i know that big box stores don't always know the sex of their animals, let alone reptiles/snakes. it will be an even better deal if this Clown were a female.

Edit: how is your other BP doing? the one with the torn skin? i hope it's healing.

They said they were an all male Petco. He's doing fine also, eating but hasn't shed again.

Awesome find!! I wish my petco and petsmart had morphs like that. I have seen a ton of pieds in stores lately tho!!

They had a banana ball there but I don't like the freckles they get with age.

I agree with you on the freckles, Im not really a fan either. I was going to get a banana, but I got a caramel glo instead and love her to pieces!!

My pet smart is also an all male store but they do not know the genders of their reptiles so I would have that clown sexed. Never hurts. Love the low pattern on it though. Very nice. My local pet stores always have normals and on rare occasions pastels.

Most would say glad you rescued him.. I second that.

I do plan to gender check but probably only when my breeding plans allow for clown.

Very nice! Just stopped at two Petco's near me earlier today and saw an Ivory, Ablino Pinstripe, Enchi, Pastel, and Chocolate as well as their normal babies.

It is odd though, how things differ from one store to another. The first Petco, I'm not very pleased with as all of their reptiles are in -tiny- spaces, and the temp/humidity is always way off. Snakes didn't even have a hide, one didn't even have a water dish (so just the snake and a little driftwood branch with the bedding). Fish always have some dead/dying ones, dirty tanks, etc.
The second store was much nicer about their snakes, angling the hides in the back so you can see but they aren't as disturbed, bigger cages, clean water, gauges are a little better. Their other pet sections look great as usual also.

Petco I went to was nice as well, except the only hides 4 reg bps had together was just a log.

might check still one place here claims to be an all male store but they have a few female snakes i believe they buy them unsexed as there is less chance of breeding in store. nice find i love clowns

Gorgeous! The Petco by my house had a beautiful pied for sale for what seemed like forever too bad I could never afford it :(
