How can I not???
So here we go again. I found another deal, I think. I was at a small local store looking at the BP's in stock as I always do when getting feeders, and there she was. A pretty little Lesser female that came out of a Huffman group. She has all the markings and traits that you'd expect to find in a Lesser Huffman. The owner thinks that she "probably" is. The breeder thinks that she "probably" is. They just aren't 100% sure because of her age. I've been looking at her for 3 weeks and she just keeps getting brighter and brighter. They're asking $129, which I think is quite a steal. Should I jump on it? I should have grabbed a quick picture.

could u put a transferable down payment? for example, if u change your mind on getting her, u can use the payment as credit toward feeders.
i would put a down payment, post a pix, get feedback from the forum and go from there.

Re: How can I not???
So I went back to the shop to get a couple of feeders today and she's still there. I got a couple of crappy phone pics, but they may be hard to judge by. She was pretty dull compared to the last time I saw her. She's going into shed.

She also did not want to stretch out, so I got the best I could at the time. Please let me know what you think. Does anyone see Huffman here?

looks like it to me. from WOBP:

WOBP shows a darker Lesser Huffman and brighter, lighter one. i'm assuming they lighten up as they mature? they're very Mojave-esque with their cheerios.
anyway that little girl is a beauty. nice dark and light blushing all over and cool cheerios. :)

That's exactly what I thought. Really reminded me of my Pastave.

She does have that look in the photos, but side by side you can see a difference. So are we convinced that she is what I think she is? I'd love more feedback.

what's missing? could u or someone elaborate for Dave and peeps like me with an untrained eye?
what i cannot tell about the BP Dave had posted is the striping on the tail since it's balled up. is it color? pattern that u don't see?

Re: How can I not???
I'd love to know as well. Seems to be a match to the WOBP pics I've seen, including the one posted. And it seems to have the traits...namely, the wonky pattern, darker darks, and very vibrant color. Yellow in this case. I know it's hard to judge by the pictures but she really does pop in person. She does have the tail stripe too, but I'm not sure that's relevant.

Hey Dave.
Not too familiar with the Huffman gene but for $129, I'd say she's worth picking up. Worst case scenario you have a lesser female breeder in the future. Best case you get in on a combo girl with a gene that not a lot of people are working with.

I agree, but am waiting to see if anyone else with some experience will weigh in.

I am not familiar with the Huffman but it really reminds me of a nice Granite.
That being said, $130 for a female Lesser isn't a bad deal but I would prefer a brighter one.
That snake wouldn't happen to be going into shed?
How sure are you on the female part?

Yeah she's going into shed. In person her yellows are very bright. As for her being female, yes. Breeder and store owner said so! And I popper her...:gj:
If she's still there next time I'm in the store I'll get a better picture if she's shed. I'm not one for cross posting, but I might start another thread in the "What morph is this?" to see if I can get some more opinions.

That's the plan! Waiting for my girl to hit about 1800-2000 grams. Will all depend on the odds gods after that ;)
