    Thermostat help.
Last night my power went out. Now my VE-200 won't keep a constant temp. Anyone ever had this problem? Is there a fix?

Was out for 2 mins max and now the temp fluctuates +\- 2 degrees from what I set it at. Where as before it was a constant temp

Did you check the Heater Mode?
Make sure it is NOT On/Off

I've never had one of these, but I'm wondering if maybe unplugging it for 5 or 10 minutes will help? Electrical surges can reek havoc, that's for sure.

I'll give that a go as soon as I get home from work. That or I'm going to see if there is a way to reset it.

In case anybody has this problem it means the probe is bad!! But Chris from C serpents called his VE supplier and they shipped one out for me same day!

That was what I was thinking. Also was wondering where the probe was sitting as if it was maybe near water, moisture or waste products from the reptiles. Unless you had it sitting on or near your heat tape or heating element. In any case, glad it was resolved.

It sits directly on the heat tape. I'm glad too I was losing my mind trying to figure it out
