    Shedding Question
Little Monty has been in his hide for the last 3 days. I was pretty sure he was going into shed when I saw his eyes were misty on Wednesday and he missed striking his food 3 times. I read on a post here regarding the stages of shedding that staying in there hide is normal. I just wanted to double check with you all.

After 5 days he poked his head out of the hide. His eyes look clear, no sign of shedding. Should i be looking out for anything?

look for his shed skin. it's probably in his hide.

also give him a look over to make sure all the shed came off and that he didn't scrape or cut himself on something wriggly free of his old skin.

Their eyes clear up before they shed. Just make sure you keep up the humidity so your BP has an easy time shedding. Check his belly. If he's in shed, you should see a pink belly.

Thanks guys - He has also been yawning a lot tonight too. Not ventured far from his hide yet though.

Sometimes it can take a while for them to complete the shed cycle. Jynx takes about 14 days every time from first hint of pink belly to done shedding. Just be on the look out and keep the humidity up

Still no sign, but he did poop last night. Not sure if that is relevant ?

Sometimes it is, and sometimes it's not, every snake is different, but with a couple of sheds you'll learn what to expect

I just called home to get wifey to check up on Monty. She said she can see some skin next to is favorite hide but refused to put her hand in the tank to pull it out, so I don't know if its a full shed at this time. More news later!

Ok here it is. I found 2 pieces. I am assuming the small bit is the head and obviously the rest is the body. Its strange because it was rolled up like a turtle neck pullover :) Is this a normal shed?
