Finally and a heart felt thank you!!

So TODAY I am driving to go and pick up my baby!!!! Husbandry has been spot on and stable for the past 3 days. I just wanted to share with everyone as a lot of you have been with me on my first ball python journey.

I also wanted to say THANK YOU to everyone who has helped me out!! I really could not have done any of this without all of your help. I really do appreciate all of the time you have taken out of your busy day/lives to stop and give me solid advice. THANK YOU!

I will post pics up in the beginning of week once she has settled in for 2 to 3 days.

I definitely did not contribute to any of this, sadly. But oh well, it's exciting to see that there's one more person joining in with the hobby. A sensible one too; as I take it you have actually took the time to monitor the husbandry to ensure that it is stable and sufficient. Congratulations to you, and I'm excited to see your first snake! :)

Congrats! Glad you have everything ready for her. I'm a huge fan of the coral glows and mine is my favorite of my snakes. Looking forward to some pics!

Ok guys! Just got her home! I'm in love with her already! I snapped a very quick picture right after taking her out of the snake bag before placing her in the cage because when I went to pick her up she had just shed the day before, all in one piece too! I apologize for the dim lighting and the cell phone picture but I did not want to stress her by taking a photo shoot. She seems extremely calm and not stressed at all. She slowly moved right into one of her reptile basic hides and has been chilling ever since. I love the pattern on the side of her head!!

Lovely girl! Congratulations! Awesome that she's so mellow, too! When I got my two balls (about two and a half months ago), it was an amazing contrast in temperaments... the boy's as mellow and laid back as can be, and immediately made the switch to F/T without any problem. The girl tried to strike every time I came near the cage for the first month and a half, and wouldn't even look at F/T, other than to strike at them - without binding. Finally got her to take a live about a month ago, and then it was like she wasn't sure how to eat it... first time I've ever seen a snake pick a dead mouse up by the tail and drag it all over their cage!

Wow thats crazy! Yea shes so mellow. I put her in a snake bag for the ride home and made a little pouch with my lap and sweatshirt and she just chilled all ride home. And so far every time I've held her she just hangs out in my hand real calm.

Thanks a lot! My fiance who never wanted a snake in the first place, goes "awwww shes so cute" when she first saw her. [emoji1] Cleo will be very loved by all.
