And I thought she was asleep! I've been monitoring temps in the new rack every couple of hours with the IR gun. Tex was in her hide, and shot out 18 inched to nail me. She'd eaten earlier and must have wanted more.

It’s always so much scarier when they lunge out of the hide at you haha. Same thing happened to me awhile back....was messing with the water bowl all the way in the back of the tub. Scared me so bad that I fell back onto my butt.

I gotta say, it took me a second to realize it was a BP. The angle of the photo looks like her body is a bit heavier, and I thought for a second it was a hot!
