My 2012 female pied dropped her virgin clutch on 11/7/15. Yay! 5 good looking bright, white large eggs. Prelay shed was 10/3/15 so I thought she was a little late. Incubating @ 89.5f with 99% humidity on light diffuser over glazed vermiculite. I didn't weigh the clutch or candle as yet. No slugs. No mold. Pairing was piebald X piebald . Both parents are regular pieds.http://ball-pythons.net/gallery/file...che=1447170858

Thanks Pit, the female was still eggbound when I first lifted her off the clutch and I felt I had to hurry and get the eggs into the bator and leave her so she could lay the last egg. That's why I didn't weigh and candle the clutch right away.

Great job Mr Clark! That's great that your virgin girl produced all heathy eggs for you! I'll be watching for worm pics in a few weeks :-)

TYVM Deb, so true. Wondering how long b4 this girl goes back on food. I guess I will offer a meal every week.

Thank you T, yeah I was very worried about the health of both mom and the eggs. She proved to be up for the task. As soon as I see pipping you can bet everyone will see the pics. I appreciate the support.

Pieds are always exciting to hatch. A very visually stunning gene.

Thanks Mid, I have been so excited since I first saw the female sitting on the eggs. I'm even more excited now knowing that in two months I will have baby pieds to care for. Lol. Hopefully all will progress positively and hatch rate will be 100%.

Update on the eggs is all positive! They all candle well with veins. The brown debris is from the cypress mulch and has been on the one egg from day 1. That was the last egg laid and was the one that was inside the female when I lifted her off the clutch initially. Temps steady at 88.5f -89.5f and the humidity locked at 99%. Fingers crossed.

Congratulations! Still not sure I ever want to put myself under the stress of breeding and waiting for eggs... but the idea of waiting to find out what will hatch is, without any doubt, tempting!

Thanks C! Truly appreciate it. That is understandable and when it's your time to start you will know it. It (the desire to get into breeding) will begin to consume you!

Day 34 of the incubation and all is well as far as looks of the eggs. Temps and humidity hanging tough and stable. Just looking for any suggestions in case I missed anything so far. Thanks community.
