that's one of the nice things about living here in the Pacific NW.

Used to love Salmon fishing in the Upper Peninsula of MI with fly rods. We'd use a skirted jig and keep working past their noses. It would take a while to get one to hit it so it'd be a fair catch but man when you did, you were in for a great time. Most times it would be a twenty to thirty minute fight to get it landed. Thanks for the memories.

Oh, like your choice of dog as well. We have a red as well as a black and tan long haired dachshund. They are PIAs with their incessant barking, but you gotta love 'em.

Thats How I feel its 8 minutes to the Banks of the Siuslaw River its a hop skip and a jump, One of those fish took 1 hour to land him what a fight he gave it his all and then some other 2 under 30 minutes we will see what tomorrow brings.......Thanks on my Dog Gustav he barks at a butterfly thats on the other side of our little valley we live in he's our Goof off lol our Parrot says Gustav get in here Gustav quit barking and do you what a bath, he says this to guest also lol lol He thinks his crap don't stink and he needs 5 star service no matter we're he is. We love him very much he was a present to me from my Husband almost 2 years ago by fit in my hand and was so freaking cute. I grew up with our family Doxie Fritz he was a great Doggie my he R.I.P. Now on the snake front its been a full Day All enclosure s cleaned Im tired snakes are tired of me waking them up lol I won in the end silly Pythons and Kings who I call the worms lol My New BabybBall is doing great every one is eating except my Bumblebee will try again next week. All three of the Kings made me laugh at their attack on the F/T Rat Pinkies tooo funny.... Looks like our Nation the Great USA is getting hit bad by the weather, our river is up 13 inches since this morning and we are out of the area that the tide water goes 3 miles My Prayers to every area thats getting Hit Please God watch over our Towns Big and Small and our People and Families Were help is needed guide us to them by land or with a boat on Main Street of all other streets also prayers for our First Responders Guide the emergency Department s to each and every home, business, Hospitals and every nook and cranny. The PACIFIC NORTH WEST is a great place to live, rivers that run wild carrying so many Fish up stream to all the Fishermen. ... and Bears We have our very own Yard Bear I walked around the corner of our house eye to eye with a Black Bear I scream help me help me my Husband came running to my rescue we have alot of Bear's in out small Village of 22 houses they want all our Apples of the 25 Apple Tree's I don't think they miss one, my husband took back our Garbage can the other evening from the bear he had him self a Big bat and bear spray if needed and a Rifle, I want to get myself a 9mm semi or automatic Hand gun....[emoji35] to use if need be.

i live in Seattle and we've had black bear sightings and catches in the city. one was caught in the University District!

regarding Salmon, i love when they return from sea. we have a fish ladder at the canal that u can go underground to view salmon coming and going. also there are various streams and river where u can see salmon swimming from the shore and bridge.

nature is right in the back yard. :)

Today was Crazy Fishing then home to prep them and off to the Freezer, mean while My Baby Female Bumble bee arrived Warmed up and some Face time she's adorable and very curious. I have a couple more pythons and a king and then the doors close A closed collection. It would have to be A Clown or another high end Morphs. [emoji15]

My Husband is already in the or at the River to catch his limit yummy more Salmon. He got alot of eggs they are curing in the Garage. I love me some smoked salmon!!

I know right Its the best, We now have 60 lbs in the Freezer, tomorrow Ill go get my Limit of 2 daily and My Hubby will get his two. Its sure going to be nice this winter Half of Beef A pig Lots of chickens and Salmon in the Deep Freeze. I need to get some Turkey's and Cornish Hens and some Deer Meat.

I just might add Bear we have one sitting so the porch ripping thru the Garbage Can BIting thru coffee cans he leaves a mess. I have a 9 mm that he's gonna see if he keeps misbehavior going. He charged my Husband the other night, we we're waiting for him and he did not like that. I hate killing Animals but if it comes down to me or the Bear winning I will win he snorts at me the Game Police said get a bear tag, its a Done deal. I have never eaten Bear meat
