    Tub setup?
What size tub and setup would you use for an adult male?? I may be rescuing one soon

28 qt is pretty much the smallest for an adult male corn. If he is a big one, you may want to go with a 32 qt.

If he's a big male it wouldn't hurt to go as big as a 41qt, though 32qt will do.

My biggest male is in a 41-qt tub, he's a seven year old normal and weighs over 2000 grams.

My breeders are all younger and smaller, around 1000 grams. They're in 34-quart tubs.

When I had my corn he was incredibly active, if you are doing a new setup why not provide him with a big enough cage so he can roam?

I had mine in a 3x2x2 and he used every inch of it, to the point where he probably could have used an extra foot in length.

Google says the 20 gallon long is 30X12X12. Our Petco?/PenSence?/PetSomething... sells that for almost $50, but I expect you would get an employee discount. Our local WalMart sells a huge long tank (don't know the volume nor dimensions) for $100, maybe $110.

Love the look of that big tank, but dang - it would be like trying to find a space to move a Volkswagon into the house.

    Lmao you're right, I do get a discount. A 20 is sufficient?

    Depends.
Probably sufficient, but not sure if it would be ideal. Most people suggest adding the lengths of the two sides (30+12=42 inches), and will change up in size when the snake's length in inches exceeds that measurement.

Would your store still honour your discount on a special order? You might be able to get a deal on a really big tank that way.

If you want a bigger tank, you could just wait until petcos dollar per gallon sale starts up again. That's usually when I buy my tanks.

Before I put my corn in the 3x2x2 I had him in a 36in x 18in x 16in but again I felt like he was cramped when he hit the 4ft mark
