Any diabetic reptile keepers?

Im just wondering if there are any diabetic reptile keepers on here lol

I am pre-diabetic. Trying to keep from going full blown type 2.

I know this is an older topic but I'm type one diabetic. I've been diabetic for over 20 years.

I'm type one, have been for 20 years.

As far as I know, non of my reptiles are diabetic (knock on wood!) :P

J/K, I flirt with the ragged edge of pre-diabetic and full blown diabetes. Hopefully that will change this year if I can get off my fat butt and commit to a healthier lifestyle.:(

I am diabetic, 35 years now. i control it by insulin pump now, and for the past 5 years.

question for all the above, what causes diabetes..??

For type ones, genetics. For type twos, a combination of genetic predisposition, and lifestyle issues, such as bad diet and being overweight.

WOW, thanks.. I asked because im 33yo 6' and weigh between 145-155lbs now would that be on the bad diet side of having diabetes because i DON'T need it:colbert:, I LOVE sugar a lil too much...??
