see this is where it starts ADMINS, video about the GRAVID female, NOT the tank or the shavings on the floor from the enclosure i was cleaning out... this is the type of people that brings my REP DOWN for not agreeing with what others say about me and my posts, about how i manage my babies, just because its not how they manage theirs doesn't mean the way i do is wrong.....

Congrats on the gravid female. That is always a beautiful sight. Don't let people get you down. We all have messes in our reptile areas from time to time. Usually you only see pics of peoples facilities after they have cleaned from top to bottom and everything is shiny and sparkling, however, if you popped in randomly, you would see the real story. Let us know when she drops the clutch.

Believe what you want man...you have no REP..you have sub par caging. Your entertainment stand cage screams bacteria growth..nothing wrong with home builds if they are done properly and sealed.is your incubator ready? Live food for the hatchling? Cages for the babies? Or are they getting thrown in the same tank to fend for themselves? Got homes for all the NORMALS that you will produce... getting snakes to breed is the easy part...resposabliy caring for all the animals is the hard part...im done beating a dead horse you will never learn.

THANKS for the concern/question....a black bed sheet covers the enclosure for her bigger hide and I'm Native/African American so my apt stays "hot" LOL, until her cool down period comes around 6:15pm..

Not always true, you would be surprised of some breeders and their levels of OCD when it comes to their facilities or snake rooms. Including myself.

Still didnt answer my question of How do you plan to incubate and care for a clutch of normals?
Any male put with a female can breed, the question is what is best for the end of the game?

But yet you still cant even provide simple husbandry a bed sheet covers the enclosure for a hide...what.... so because your house is hot thats good enough? Do they have access to a 90 hotspot. ...do you honestly even have a plan for what to do when she has eggs..incubator? house for all they babies. .im all for people wanting to breed but put some effort into it and provide the the proper husbandry for ALL the animals... when you can actually sit down read and actually learn and better simple things. Then you will earn some respect. ..custom cages can be done and I have done them my self for chameleon cages out of china cabinets... but I also sealed everything and added the necessary heating and lighting to give them the correct husbandry. .simple as that...

Well throwing things in peoples faces isn't exactly a way to get on someone's good side. It's going to start crap, so you pretty much posted this to start crap. And from what I can tell this forum isn't really about that kind of stuff. You're not going to really make any friends or get any kind of respect doing things like that.

Be the better person. Take good care of your snakes and make sure they're all healthy and the eggs/babies are well taken care of. That's all that matters. Not being a forum troll and posting things like this.

I kno room heat can and will bork but for some reason I dont see him haveing heat over 80 all the time

Why are you trying to bring more snakes into this world when you can't provide proper husbandry for the ones you have already? A bed sheet is not a hide. First, you keep on throwing out that we are Naysayers. No one on here as told you that you can't breed. Its actually very easy to do so. We have told you that you shouldn't breed. Mainly because of your lack of education, and husbandry skills. So lets get that straight.

Second can you please you proper grammar, if you want other forum members to take you seriously you really need to use proper grammar. No more of this horrible spelling, its really not difficult to spell 'because' or 'I'm going to'. Please and thank you.

Third, having a gravid female is exciting regardless of the deplorable conditions you have them in. I'm not here to talk about genetics, on if you'll get Pieds, or Normals, I'm just generally curious on what you plan to do with the eggs when they come? Can you please give us info on what type of incubation method you plan on using?

Fourth and final. Again, I'm not getting into genetics with you since you apparently know that you are getting Pieds. But what are you going to do with these babies? Do you have a means to house, feed, and take care of them? Do you have any buyers lined up? How do you plan on keeping them healthy and selling them off to make your profit?

I've asked these questions before in the numerous other threads you have posted on the exact same topic and you always skirt around them and never give off a straight answer. But please answer, I'm not here to put you down, I'm generally curious and concerned.

I think you do not answer my questions because you do not have a valid answer for any of them. They are simple questions that require simple answers . I think by not responding you are just digging a bigger hole for yourself here on this forum.

It may not be an English class, but proper grammar is just a common courtesy, and it will get you at least some sort of respect. Again, its not difficult.

You post everything on a public forum, so you should expect to get answers and questions that you will not expect, or agree with.

Again, from one ball python owner to another, we both genuinely care for these animals, even if we do have polar opposite ways of taking care of them. I'm asking these questions because I care.

If you need an 'attaboy' so badly tell your mom about it maybe? or a best friend? People here are SERIOUSE about caring for the health of their animals and the animals of others...they are far less concerned with you accomplishing a goal of yours especially if it was achieved in an irresponsible manner (which seems to be the case here). I can confidently say that if you would have accomplished the same result while providing the appropriate care for your animals you would have received the response you so desired, "congratulations". Now, because you're not taking good care of these snakes, 'successfully' breeding them is not a success at all but instead, a failure. All I get from looking at your post and reading your comments is a nervous feeling in my stomach spawned from the idea that you might bringing more beautiful animals into this world that will also be cared for poorly. In most instances your story would be met with praise and excitement from others...I do hope my post helps you understand why you did not get the responses you had hoped for.

Plus, English is not everyone's first language, so going at someone for their spelling or grammar is actually pretty nasty. Spend energy trying to help someone be a better BP parent, not their English instructor.

It was simple question are you doing maternal incubation or artificial incubation. ..there is know other way to do it..no one would argue that... and for your grammar you can take the cat out of the hood but you cant take to the hood out of the cat.

I've read all of his previous threads and I understand why you're upset, and it's not choosing to "nitpick," it's asking you to remain kind while trying to educate someone. The situation is very aggravating and I don't disagree with anything anyone has been trying to explain to him, but asking someone to use "correct grammar and spelling" is not going to help, it just has classist and racist undertones.

Trial and error yes, but you a talking about living animals that cannot fend for themselves in captivity. By you going by trial and error, you very well may severely damage or kill "your babies". But hey trial and error. Once they go, you can always get more....

That is why we are trying to give you the best advice possible, instead you choose to ignore it, and take care of "your babies" the way you want to. The way that may make them sick, or dead.

And in your case, the past matters because nothing has changed from your very first post to now. Same bad husbandry practices, same poor caging, and you still wont listen. If you took the advice we gave you with a grain of salt, and tried to make the correct changes, then no the past wouldn't matter, and we would continue to help you. But you will not listen.

Almost every post from you in this thread is aggressive, either directly or passively, even the very start of this thread. You set the tone of this thread. How do you expect people to respond?

And from a pure ease of reading point of view, I'll fill you in on a secret, most of us can read the lowercase words just fine.

Man close and lock this thread ASAP, seems like erryybody<----- southern accent lol, is an expert on this site from the beginning.. i've learned the BEST way to learn something is the HANDS ON approach.. this is the END bottomline i care for my animals because if i didn't they wouldn't STILL be here with me till this day, so i must be doing something correct but i don't get that from y'all....alright the title of this thread was a lil misconstrued, because he way i've been seeing people on here say/type/think i couldn't get my female ball to this GRAVID point and eggs later with the husbandry/caging of MY animals because "I'm ALWAYS WRONG" when it comes to MY babies/pets but animals do ADAPT to their surroundings so husbandry is not an issue, what is it because i'm having a hard time accepting PEOPLES THOUGHTS about how to care for "MY ANIMALS"...AND TAKE THAT HOW YALL WANT I COULD CARE LESS..!!!!!

I will go ahead and say that despite what some people have been saying here, your husbandry has improved from when you first joined. There are still some aspects that can be improved, but no one starts out perfect, and some people take a while to get there (and sometimes "perfect" isn't as perfect as people like to think).

I will also say that I produced my own very first clutch of eggs this year and came up with 6 babies myself, which was a fantastic experience except they hatched right when my husband and I realized I would have to get rid of most of my snakes due to some unexpected major life events. I was very lucky with my 6 babies and had someone who wanted to buy all 6 as a group, but of my original 11 snakes I am only down to 7 after about 3 months of searching for homes for them.

Short version; snakes actually don't sell super well and you may end up keeping whatever you hatch for a very long time, are you prepared for that? This isn't an attack or criticism, only pointing out the biggest and most overlooked problem for first time breeders.

THANKS for your concern and true life story very much needed to the END of this post..i'm only going to keep 2 or 3, 2 females and a boy or 2 boys and a female...

There is no need to be rude to people who are trying to help you by using their personal experiences. And you wonder why you keep getting negative reputation.
