How long do you let your snake digest it's food before you handle it? I've been waiting 4 days just to be on the safe side.

digesting times
48 hours is typically enough. If you wait too long, you'll not be able to handle your snake more than one day a week!

it seems you can just sort of tell. like at 48 hours they just seem to perk right back up, when the night before they seemed so lethargic and full. i don't know how other snakes are but with alfy it's so obvious when he's ready to be social again.

I fed him monday and handled him on friday. Yesterday and today he has been very active. He's been all over the tank. I don't know if he is just exploring, looking for food or trying to find a way to escape. I'm just glad he is finally settled in enough to move around.
